If you don’t have a headset button on your desk phone, unplug the curly cord from the base of the desk phone and plug it into the blue jack of the headset base. Now plug the other end of the green cord into the handset jack of the phone (where the curly cord was previously connected)

Gently pull the tab from your headset to activate the battery. Set your headset in the base and let it charge for at least 4 hours before the first use
