Unplug the power cord from the headset base. Set the RHL/DHS switch on the bottom of the base to “REL.”

Set the compatibility switch to “1”

Connect the larger end of the
Electronic Hook switch (HES) to the AUX jack on the back of the base. This is the largest jack in the center of the base.
Connect the smaller end of the EHS to the AUX jack on the back of the Avaya phone. -
Take the cable that came with your headset and plug one end into the Telephone Connector jack on the back of the headset base (this is the jack second from the right). Connect the other side of this cable to the HEADSET JACK of the Avaya telephone.

Lastly, plug your power cable back in to the back of the charging base.
