Appearance

• Battery indicator:  In the connection state and fully charged, all four lights are on. And in sleep state, only the two lights in the middle are on.
• Infrared indicator: The four infrared lights will light up in a dark environment.
• Power / Reset button: One click: open the camera. Long press for 5 seconds: turn off the camera. Four consecutive clicks: reset the camera.

Install equipment

1. Ensure the cleanliness of the installation site, and check whether the top of the rear/body surface is made of iron, cobalt, and nickel.
2. Press the power button on the back of the camera to turn on the camera, and you can search for this device on the mobile APP.
3. Attach the camera to the top of the rear of the car or the car body. As shown in Figure 01.02, you can choose any method.
4. Loosen the torx screws on both sides, and adjust the angle according to the needs. The max angle is 150°. Then tighten the screws on both sides after the adjustment to complete the installation.

Download and install the app

Please scan the QR code below, select the APP corresponding to the mobile phone version, download and install it. You can also go to the “GOOGLE PLAY” or “APP Store” app store to search for “INSEECam” (case-insensitive), and click to download and install.

Connect the device-Android

Open the app and select the device to be connected. Follow the prompts to connect the device to wifi and click the back button to jump to the live video preview. Note: The hotspot name is “WFS-XXXXXX”, and the default password is empty.

Connect the device-IOS

Open the app to select the device to be connected. Click ‘join’, the system will automatically connect the device according to the prompt. And then, it will automatically jump to the real-time video interface. When connecting to the device for the first time, the default login password is blank. You do not need to enter a password. But you can long press the device list or change the password on the setting interface after the connection is successful.

Note: One camera can only be connected to one mobile phone simultaneously.

Configure the device

After connecting the device, you can monitor the screen in real time, take screenshots, record videos, adjust the screen orientation and scale, configure the device parameters, and upgrade the device.

1. HD stands for high definition, SD stands for standard definition. When the wifi signal is not very good, it is recommended to manually switch to SD, for obtaining a better real-time video picture.
2. When the battery is lower than 25%, the battery icon will flash to remind. Please charge in time.

Equipment upgrade

After connecting the device, click the settings button in the upper right corner of the live video to enter the settings interface. Select “Firmware Upgrade” to upgrade the device.

Q&A

What should I do when the device cannot be connected?

1. Firstly, please make sure that the device is turned on.
2. If is, please make sure the device has sufficient power.
3. If is, please open the phone settings, refresh the WLAN, find and connect it. (The hotspot name is: WFS-xxxxxx).
4. If there is no device WiFi in the WLAN, please make sure the location permission is granted. After authorization, you will be able to find and connect the device WiFi.
5. If the above methods cannot be connected, please try to reset the device.
6. If all the above methods cannot be connected, please contact us.

When viewing the device, the screen suddenly goes black?

1. You can check if the device has power at first. If the device is out of power, please charge it in time before using it.
2. If the device has power, please turn off the phone wifi, and turn it on again. At last you can try to reconnect the device.
3. If it still doesn’t work, please reset the device.
4. If all the above methods cannot be connected, please contact us.

Why did my device suddenly shut down?

The device may be due to out of power.

1. Please check whether your device has sufficient power.
2. If it is out of power, please charge it in time before using it.
3. If it is fully charged, please try to restart the APP.
4. If all the above methods cannot be connected, please contact us.

Can I share the device to another phone?
No. Only one mobile phone can be connected to one device. If you need to replace the connected mobile phone, please disconnect the device and reconnect with the new mobile phone.

What phone permissions does the device need?
This is the phone permission that the device needs: location permission, photo album permission, bluetooth permission, network permission, microphone permission. For a better user experience, please make sure the above permissions are turned on.

How to wake up the device after hibernation?
Open the APP and click the device that needs to be woken up on the device list interface. If you can’t find your device, please try the list below.

1. Open the phone settings, find and connect the device WiFi.
2. Back to the APP, you will automatically jump to the real-time video interface.
