Appearance

IdeaShare Key is used with endpoints to share materials.

• USB Connector
  Used to connect IdeaShare Key to an endpoint or PC.

  Used to start or stop video/audio sharing from the PC to the endpoints.

Blinking blue at low brightness (once per second)

Pairing

Insert IdeaShare Key in an endpoint. Wait until a message is displayed indicating that IdeaShare Key is successfully paired on the endpoint’s user interface.
The following product models can be used with the IdeaShare Key:
IdeaHub Enterprise, IdeaHub Pro, IdeaHub S, IdeaHub S2, IdeaHub ES2, IdeaHub Board Pro, Collaboration Device, Collaboration Device Pro, and Collaboration Device Lite.
The following product models only in 21.0.300.9 and later can be used with the IdeaShare Key for projection on the macOS: IdeaHub Enterprise, IdeaHub Pro, IdeaHub S, IdeaHub Board Pro, Collaboration Device, Collaboration Device Pro, and Collaboration Device Lite.

Installation

Install the IdeaShare Key program on the PC for the first time.

1. Remove the paired IdeaShare Key from the endpoint and connect it to the USB port of the PC.
2. Double-click IdeaShare Key.exe to install the program.
   The path of the installation file varies according to the operating system version.
   For example, in Windows 10 Professional, the path is This PC > IdeaShare Key > IdeaShare Key.exe.

Operation

To share the screen using IdeaShare Key, perform the following steps:

1. Insert IdeaShare Key in the USB port of the PC.
2. Wait until a message is displayed, indicating that the connection is successful and the LED indicator turns blue at low brightness.
3. Press the button on IdeaShare Key to share the PC screen and audio to endpoint. Then you can watch the PC screen on endpoint.
4. Press the button again to stop sharing.
