INTRODUCTION

GEYGUY is a collection of engineers who are enthusiastic about sound and audio. The GEYGUY R&D team finally introduced the amazing G521-1 3-way passive bookshelf speakers, which can restore sound and music details better, based on years of factory production and product design experience and adhering to the enthusiasm for home audio experience.
The mid-range speaker added to G521-3-way 1’s circuit by HI-FI makes up for the lack of additional speakers for human voice. The air duct has been modified to better match the low-frequency speaker. These stereo speakers function well because their low frequency, which reaches an astonishing 48Hz, is so high.
Our three-way passive speakers have an innovative frequency divider that divides the incoming audio signal into three frequency zones, each of which is supplied to a different driver. This effectively meets all of your frequency response needs.

User Guide

We have determined the listening distance between you and the passive speakers after conducting numerous location testing. Here is a straightforward diagram that should make your experience with music more enjoyable.
It is easier for you to attach speaker cables using push-type terminals (speaker wires are not provided), as opposed to other bookshelf speakers that require you to turn the terminals.
We provide 4 non-slip pads that can be pasted if necessary to stop the home speaker system from shifting during playback due to vibration.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What’s the difference between 2-way and 3-way passive speakers?

The primary difference between a 2-way and a 3-way speaker is how many drivers the speakers have. A 2-way speaker is split between the subwoofer and tweeter, while a 3-way speaker has an extra part that is called a “mid-range driver”. The 3-way 3-driver speaker completely avoids the unnatural sound connection of the 2-way acoustic structure caused by setting the crossover point in the middle of the sensitive vocal frequency band and ensures the natural and true sound. A 3-way speaker makes sense if you are using high-quality components. The mid-range component will make for better and more immersive sound quality.

What is the power of the G521-1? How to set up a stereo effect?

The peak power of a pair of G521-1 speakers is 280 watts (80 watts RMS/per, Total RMS:160 watts); Two passive speakers are placed at the left and right ends respectively, you can output stereo effects just with your stereo power amplifier.

What’s the frequency response range? Can it reach 48Hz?

The frequency response range of G521-1 bookshelf speakers is 48-20KHz; The low-frequency effect of 48Hz can be achieved to the maximum extent, and the test video can refer to Customer questions & answers. Super suitable for Rock and dance music, such as Trance, House, Techno, and some low-frequency music such as Trailer, Smooth Jazz, etc.

Can it be used as a surround sound speaker?

Yes, of course. As long as your power amplifier is a 5.1 or above audio system, you just place our speakers in the surround output position to complete a stereo surround sound system.

What is the speaker box material?

Our speaker box is made of high-density pure wood, which is artificially polished and synthesized. Because the maximum diameter of the G521-1 speaker is 5.25 inches, and with the measurement results of acoustics and aerodynamics, we choose wood with a thickness of 0.59 inches to make the sound quality reach the best level in minimal distortion.

Will a 40-watt receiver work with these speakers?

Yes, no issue. RMS 80 watts*2 and peak power 160 watts are the speakers’ ratings.

What is the impedance of this speaker?

This bookshelf speaker has a 4-ohm impedance.

What is the 3-way and what advantages do this design offer?

The 3-way architecture of these bookshelf speakers means that they are made up of a 5-inch low, a 2-inch medium, and a 1-inch high frequency speaker. The vocal portion is reflected at medium frequency, restoring the singer’s voice, while the tweeter portion is extremely perceptible, bright, and not harsh. Low frequency at 5 inches is intense and full of shock.

Can I connect these to my computer instead of the soundbar?

You will need an amplifier since these passive speakers are not powered. Most likely, the TV or PC lacks the power to drive the speakers. Speaker wire is required to connect the speakers to the amplifier after using an RCA cord to link the PC/TV audio output to the amplifier’s input.

Do I require a receiver in order to connect to my television?

They are passive speakers, so if you want to connect them to your TV, record player, turntable, passive subwoofer, etc., you’ll need an amplifier receiver.

Do I need a receiver to connect the speakers to my TV?

Yes, these speakers are passive and you will need a receiver to connect to TV.

Can I use these speakers as surround sound speakers?

Yes, these speakers can be used as surround sound or front speakers.

What are passive bookshelf speakers?

A speaker is considered active if its own amplifier is integrated into the cabinet. Speaker wire is used to connect a passive speaker to the external amplifier that supplies its power. Typically, passive speakers are used in homes.

Why is my passive speaker not working?

Verify the speaker and receiver/speaker amplifier’s wire connections. The speaker wires should be unplugged and then reconnected. Change the receiver’s channel so the impacted speaker is on the opposite side (i.e. Left to Right). Continue below if the problem continues after the speaker.
