To submit a request for warranty online, visit www.visiontechamerica.com/site /get-warranty/ This limited warranty is given to the end-user or the retail purchaser(referred to this warranty as Original Purchaser”) that it will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the purchase of the new product(excluding accessory items such as power cords, cradle, memory card, adaptor and cables). Customer will be responsible for freight charges incurred to return the product and will include a Cashiers Check or Money Order in the amount of $15.00 for continental U.S. or $30 for Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and Puerto Rico, Payable to VISION TECH AMERICA, INC. to cover return shipping and handling. A copy of the original proof of purchase and this warranty card with RMA number given by Vision Tech America, Inc, is required to receive warranty service. In the unlikely event that the new product should fail due to defect in material or workmanship, Vision Tech America, Inc. will repair or replace the entire product, where each party will be responsible for one-way shipping.
This limited warranty does not cover any physical damage to this product,
damage caused by improper installation; improper use; misuse; neglect; repair
of cracked, scratched, broken or modified cosmetics; or parts that have been
altered or removed; damages done by another device used with this product
resulting from use of non BOYO@- brand parts. This warranty is VOID if you
purchased this product as used, floor model sample, or refurbished; if the
product has been altered or modified in any way(including but not limited to
attempted repair without authorization from BOYO@- Vision Tech America, Inc.
and/or alteration/removal of the serial number). This limited warranty does
not cover the vehicle of any damages or liabilities in which this product is
installed or being installed. This product does not guarantee avoidance of
vehicle collision or accident.

What is LPR camera?
Specialized surveillance equipment called licence plate recognition (LPR) cameras is used to identify, record, and log the licence plates of moving objects.
What does LPR mean on a car?
LPR, or licence plate recognition, is a system that makes it considerably easier for Transit and Parking to patrol parking lots.
What is the difference between ANPR and LPR camera?
In actual usage, the terms Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and License Plate Recognition (LPR) both refer to the same thing. Although different suppliers may describe their goods slightly differently, they are frequently used interchangeably.
Can security cameras read plates?
Clear licence plate numbers can be captured by HD IP security cameras. You can recognise licence plate numbers from a distance using 2MP (1080p), 4MP (1440p), and even 5MP security cameras (a great development in the HD security camera industry).
What connection does this have to the dashboard display?
A long video extension that extends from the camera to the dashboard is included with the VTL425TJ. An RCA video jack that links to the stereo system’s “rear camera” input or the monitor display is located at the extension’s dashboard end. Please view the product page video for the VTL425TJ. The wiring will be explained.
What follows this? cables?
Along with the camera are the cords. I mounted it on a Supercab pickup, and they easily connected to the radio head unit. I’m not sure how long the cables are, though.
When the car lights are on at night or on a bright day, does the system recognize the number?
Yes. With our current equipment, we use cameras with the BLC or WDR function. The image is modified by this feature to make the number clearly visible.
Does the system function without any additional lights at night?
Yes. We employ infrared cameras in the existing facilities. They make the licence plate visible in the dark, ensuring its identification.
How does plate recognition work?
Using optical character recognition (OCR) methods, a software engine recognises the characters on a licence plate and converts the text to an electronic format. This process is initiated by a specialised camera that creates an image of a licence plate.
How accurate are license plate readers?
Acceptable detection accuracy is lower than 90%. According to Normington, the accuracy rate for detecting licence plates should be at least 98%.
Does number plate recognition work at night?
The infrared illumination capabilities of modern ANPR technologies also enable them to capture clear images even at night or in low light situations, where many other CCTV surveillance tools would completely fail.
What triggers ANPR camera?
Hardware and software both have the ability to activate ANPR cameras. Software options can be thought of as less trustworthy than hardware options like radar or inductive loops, which are activated when your car drives over a wire.
