This Quick Start Guide gives yo GEM Starter Kit. Please consult the User Guide
for full use la brief overview of your and care instructions prior to using
GEM with patients.

STEP ONE
Download &Install Drivers
- a. Visit BrasselerUSA Dental.com/GEMSoftware to download the GEM Installer.
- b. Exit all open applications on your computer system.
- c. Locate the GEM Software Installer (usually in your downloads folder) and double-click to run the installation wizard.
- d. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the driver and reboot your computer system when complete.
STEP TWO
Sync GEM& Imaging Software
- a. Connect your new GEM Sensor to your computer via an available USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port.
- b. Open your practice s imaging application.
- c. Locate your GEM Sensor within the application and select the sensor.
STEP THREE
Disinfect & Protect
Now that your imaging application and GEM Sensor are synced, you’re almost
ready to start making radiographs. Before snapping away, please wipe the GEM
Sensor and its cable with a commercial disinfectant wipe and place the sensor
inside a GEM Sensor Barrier
STEP FOUR
Position & GO!
Use the included Positioning System to ensure precise placement of your GEM
Sensor no matter how you’re using it-vertically, horizontally, anterior, or
posterior. Once you have the GEM Sensor properly positioned, you’re all set to
capture high quality x-ray images!
Note: Rebooting is imperative for software to sync properly.
