INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
DATE OF ISSUE: January 6, 2022
- Try-in the Accur8™ Dual-Arch Impression Tray Posterior to ensure a proper fit. Adjust lingual wall of tray if necessary. Prepare tooth and proceed with tissue management using a hemostatic agent and retraction cord.
- Optional, apply an EDTA cleanser (Brasseler USA® 17% EDTA Solution) to clean and decontaminate the preparation following the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
- Syringe a light body impression material (Accur8™ Light Body Impression Material) around the preparation twice in a 360-degree motion to totally cover tooth preparation keeping tip moving forward and submerged to avoid air entrapment.
- Simultaneously, load Accur8™ Dual-Arch Impression Tray Posterior with an appropriate rigid tray material (Accur8™ Rigid Tray Maximum Support Impression Material). Use enough material to encompass the tray walls on the buccal and lingual surfaces. Add additional tray material to the preparation areas on the Accur8™ DualArch Impression Tray Posterior.
- Seat the tray and instruct the patient to fully but passively close. A passive closed position is held for 3 minutes from tray insertion or until material is fully set.
- Remove opposing arch first by holding tray against the preparation while the patient slowly opens. Then use a gentle rocking motion to remove the prep side.
- Inspect the impression:
• Prep is completely covered in impression material.
• A perfect blend of the tray and wash material is achieved.
• Tray is fully encompassed in tray material with no sign of burn through or distortion.

RECYCLE TRAY: The Accur8™ Dual-Arch Impression Tray Posterior is
fabricated using aluminum and is 100% recyclable.
STEPS TO RECYCLE TRAY
- Separate the impression material and mesh from the tray and discard.
- Recycle the aluminum frame in the appropriate recycling container in accordance with your local recycling program.
Do not re-use trays.
