IASUS IA-XEMLD Earmold Kit

Thank you for choosing IASUS. This earmold kit is to provide the best passive noise isolation when wearing earbuds, with the added convenience for the wearer to slip on and off their helmet past their earbuds easily. Designed to be used with the IASUS XE earbuds, the molds will fully encase them into the individual’s ears. Connect the XE earbuds to the IASUS EAR3 amplifier (sold separately) inline with your audio source to enjoy a rich hi-def audio experience with the option of transparency mode to hear your surroundings. IMPORTANT: While the compounds are non-toxic, they should be kept out of the reach of children and pets. All sales of this product are final.

EARMOLD USAGE

To wear the mold, insert the mold with the earbud into your ears. They should sit perfectly into your ears.
To remove, gently peel the mold away from the ears.

INSTRUCTIONS

This kit contains enough mold-setting compounds for 2 pairs of ears. Optionally, you may create the mold for one ear at a time using half of the indicated proportions.
7 minutes to install. Please follow the suggested time for each step of the process.
After setting, if done correctly, the earbuds should not be easily removable from the mold. This ensures every time the molds are worn that they are not shifted in any way to compromise comfort and noise isolation

TEST FIT
Test fit the IA Earbuds with the provided ear tips. Choose the ear tip that gives you the most comfort and noise isolation. It is recommended to lightly clean the IA earbuds with an isopropyl alcohol wipe prior to applying the earmold mix ****
PORTIONING
Scoop 1/2 of compound A and 1/2 of compound B from the containers for both of your ears. ****
COMPOUND ACTIVATION
Combine compound A and compound B by kneading them together. IASUS recommends pulling away and folding both compounds into themselves repeatedly for 30 seconds for best results. The mixed compound will begin to slightly stiffen to indicate it is ready for molding.
APPLY TO YOUR EAR 30 seconds/ear
Insert the IA earbuds into your ears.
Split the earmold mix into 2 portions.
Fill your ear by adding the earmold bit by bit to ensure the filling of all voids and surrounding areas on your ear.
During the application of earmold, wrap the compound around the earbuds to set them.
Repeat for the other ear
COMPRESS
Using both palms, press the compound into your ear to further compress the mold. Wait 5 minutes for the compound to further stiffen and fully set.
REMOVAL
To remove your newly created molds, gently peel them away from your ears. If the molds were created correctly, the earbuds should be encased in them and come out attached to them.
