When using this heat gun, basic safety precautions, including the following, should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury and material damage.

Work Area Safety
- Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate the heat gun in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating a heat gun. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
Electrical Safety
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
- Do not expose the heat gun to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the unit will increase the risk of electric shock.
- Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
- Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
- When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
- Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
- Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 265ºF (130°C) may cause explosion.
- Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
- Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.
Personal Safety
WARNING! Do not touch the metal part or heat outlet while operating the unit or before the unit is completely cool down. Touching hot surface can cause severe burns, personal injury or property damage.
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating the heat gun. Do not use the unit while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating the unit may result in serious personal injury.
- Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
- Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before inserting the battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
- Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
- Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action can cause severe injury within a fraction of a second.
- Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be drawn into air vents.
- Do not use on a ladder or unstable support. Stable footing on a solid surface enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
Power Tool Use and Care
- Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
- Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
- Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
- Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage
  of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
- Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc.
  in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
- Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the tool in unexpected situations.
Service

Only identical replacement parts should be utilized for repairs. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Safety Instruction for Heat Gun

General Safety Warnings for Heat Gun
WARNING! This heat gun generates extremely high temperatures. Hidden areas such as behind walls, ceilings, floors, soffit boards and other panels may contain flammable materials that could be ignited by the heat gun when working in these locations. The ignition of these materials may not be readily apparent and could result in property damage and injury to persons. When working in these locations, keep the heat gun moving in a back-and-forth motion. Lingering or pausing in one spot could ignite the panel or the material behind it.
mWARNING! Extreme care should be taken when stripping paint. The peelings, residue and vapors of paint may contain lead, which is poisonous. Once deposited on surfaces, hand to mouth contact can result in the ingestion of lead. Exposure to even low levels of lead can cause irreversible brain and nervous system damage; young and unborn children are particularly vulnerable. Before beginning any paint removal process you should determine whether the paint you are removing contains lead. This can be done by your local health department or by a professional who uses a paint analyzer to check the lead content of the paint to be removed. LEAD-BASED PAINT SHOULD ONLY BE REMOVED BY A PROFESSIONAL AND

SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED BY USING A HEAT GUN.
WARNING! Do not direct hot nozzle or heat outlet toward clothing, hands, or other body parts. Intense heat from tip or nozzle can cause serious burns or cause clothing to ignite.

The heat outlet of the heat gun becomes very hot during operation and should not be touched until the tool has cooled. Always hold the tool by the insulated gripping surface to reduce the risk of serious personal injury.
Heat guns produce very high temperatures and must be used with caution to prevent combustible material from igniting. Keep tool in constant motion; do not stop or dwell in one spot. Following this rule will reduce the risk of fire or serious personal injury.
Excessive heat can generate fumes which may be dangerous when inhaled. Wear a dust respirator mask or dual filter respirator mask when using the heat gun. Following this rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury.
Keep a fully charged fire extinguisher close at hand for emergency use. Following this rule will reduce the risk of fire or serious injury.
Do not leave the heat gun unattended while running or cooling down. Always set tool on a flat, level surface so the tip is directed upwards, away from supporting surface, while running or cooling down. Following this rule will reduce the risk of fire or serious injury.
Know your power tool. Read operator’s manual carefully. Learn its applications and limitations, as well as the specific potential hazards related to this tool. Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
Always wear eye protection. Following this rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury.
Before using, check all parts for proper function and damage to component parts.
Do not use this heat gun to heat, mold or bend plastic sheets, moulding or tubing.

Safety Warnings for Removing Paint with the Heat Gun

Move the work piece outdoors. If this is not possible, keep the work area well ventilated. Open the windows and put an exhaust fan in one of them. Be sure the fan is moving the air from inside to outside.
Remove or cover any carpets, rugs, furniture, clothing, cooking utensils and air ducts.
Place drop cloths in the work area to catch any paint chips or peelings. Wear protective clothing such as extra work shirts, overalls and hats.
Work in one room at a time. Furnishings should be removed or placed in the center of the room and covered. Work areas should be sealed off from the rest of the dwelling by sealing doorways with drop cloths.
Children, pregnant or potentially pregnant women and nursing mothers should not be present in the work area until the work is done and all clean up is complete.
Wear a dust respirator mask or a dual filter (dust and fume) respirator mask. Change filters often. DISPOSABLE PAPER MASKS ARE NOT ADEQUATE.
Use caution when operating the heat gun. Keep the heat gun moving, as excessive heat will generate fumes, which can be inhaled by the operator.
Keep food and drink out of the work area. Wash hands, arms and face and rinse mouth before eating or drinking. Do not smoke or chew gum or tobacco in the work area.
Clean up all removed paint and dust by wet mopping the floors. Use a wet cloth to clean all walls, sills and any other surface where paint or dust is clinging. DO NOT SWEEP, DRY DUST OR VACUUM. Use a high phosphate detergent or trisodium phosphate (TSP) to wash and mop areas.
At the end of each work session put the paint chips and debris in a double plastic bag, close it with tape or twist ties and dispose of properly.
Remove protective clothing and work shoes in the work area to avoid carrying dust into the rest of the dwelling. Wash work clothes separately. Wipe shoes off with a wet rag that is then washed with the work clothes. Wash hair and body thoroughly with soap and water.

Battery & Charger Safety Instructions

We pay a great deal of attention to the design of every battery pack to ensure that we supply you with batteries that are safe, durable and have a high energy density. The battery cells have a wide range of safety devices. Each individual cell is initially formatted and its electrical characteristic curves are recorded. This data is then used exclusively to be able to assemble the best possible battery packs.
Despite all the safety precautions, caution must always be exercised when handling batteries. The following points must be obeyed at all times to ensure safe use. Safe use can only be guaranteed if undamaged cells are used. Incorrect handling of the battery pack can cause cell damage.

IMPORTANT! Analyses confirm that incorrect use and poor care of high- performance batteries are the main factors responsible for personal and/or product damage.

WARNING! Use only approved replacement batteries; other batteries may damage the power tool and cause it to malfunction, which can lead to serious personal injury.

WARNING! Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.
Have your battery pack serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the battery pack is maintained.

CAUTION! To reduce the risk of injury, charge the Sun Joe® 24V lithium- ion battery pack only in its designated Sun Joe® lithium-ion charger. Other types of chargers present risk of fire, personal injury and damage. Do not wire a battery pack to a power supply plug or car cigarette lighter. Such misuse will permanently disable or damage the battery pack.

Avoid dangerous environments – Do not charge the battery pack in rain, snow or in damp or wet locations. Do not use the battery pack or charger in the presence of explosive atmospheres (gaseous fumes, dust or flammable materials) because sparks may be generated when inserting or removing the battery pack, which could lead to a fire.
Charge in a well-ventilated area – Do not block the charger vents. Keep them clear to allow for proper ventilation. Do not allow smoking or open flames near a charging battery pack. Vented gases may explode.
NOTE: The safe temperature range for the battery is 41°F – 105ºF (5°C – 40.5°C). Do not charge the battery outside in freezing weather; charge it at room temperature.
Maintain charger cord – When unplugging the charger, pull the plug, not the cord, from the receptacle to reduce the risk of damage to the electrical plug and cord. Never carry the charger by its cord or yank it by the cord to disconnect it from the receptacle. Keep the cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Make sure the cord will not be stepped on, tripped over or subjected to damage or stress when the charger is in use. Do not use the charger with a damaged cord or plug. Replace a damaged charger immediately.
Do not use an extension cord unless it is absolutely necessary – Using the wrong, damaged or improperly wired extension cord poses a risk of fire and electric shock. If an extension cord must be used, plug the charger into a properly wired 16 gauge or larger extension cord with the female plug matching the male plug on the charger. Make sure that the extension cord is in good electrical condition.
Charger 24VCHRG-QC is rated for 120 volt AC only – The charger must be plugged into an appropriate receptacle.
Use only recommended attachments – Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the battery charger or battery pack manufacturer may result in risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury.
Unplug charger when not in use – Make sure to disconnect battery pack from unplugged charger.

WARNING! To reduce the risk of electric shock, always unplug the charger before performing any cleaning or maintenance. Do not allow water to flow into the charger. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) to reduce shock hazards.

Do not burn or incinerate battery pack – Battery pack may explode, causing personal injury or damage. Toxic fumes and materials are created when battery packs are burned.
Do not crush, drop or damage battery pack – Do not use the battery pack or charger if they have sustained a sharp blow, been dropped, run over or have been damaged in any way (i.e. pierced with a nail, hit with a hammer, stepped on, etc.).
Do not disassemble – Incorrect reassembly may pose
a serious risk of electric shock, fire or exposure to toxic battery chemicals. If the battery or charger are damaged, contact an authorized Snow Joe® + Sun Joe® dealer or call the Snow Joe® + Sun Joe® customer service center at
1- 866-SNOWJOE (1-866-766-9563) for assistance.
Battery chemicals cause serious burns – Never let a damaged battery pack contact the skin, eyes or mouth.
If a damaged battery pack leaks battery chemicals, use rubber or neoprene gloves to safely dispose of it. If skin is exposed to battery fluids, wash the affected area with soap and water and rinse with vinegar. If eyes are exposed to battery chemicals, immediately flush with water for 20 minutes and seek medical attention. Remove and dispose of contaminated clothing.
Do not short circuit – When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
Store your battery pack and charger in a cool, dry place – Do not store the battery pack or charger where temperatures may exceed 105ºF (40.5ºC), such as in direct sunlight or inside a vehicle or metal building during the summer.

Information about the battery

The battery pack supplied with your cordless heat gun is only partially charged. The battery pack has to be charged completely before you use the tool for the first time.
For optimum battery performance, avoid low discharge cycles by charging the battery pack frequently.
Store the battery pack in a cool place, ideally at 77°F (25°C) and charged to at least 40%.
Lithium-ion batteries are subject to a natural aging process. The battery pack must be replaced at the latest when its capacity falls to just 80% of its capacity when new. Weakened cells in an aged battery pack are no longer capable of meeting the high power requirements needed for the proper operation of your cordless heat gun, and therefore pose a safety risk.
Do not throw the battery pack into an open fire as this poses a risk of explosion.
Do not ignite the battery pack or expose it to fire.
Do not exhaustively discharge batteries. Exhaustive discharge will damage the battery cells. The most common cause of exhaustive discharge is lengthy storage or non-use of partially discharged batteries. Stop working as soon as the performance of the battery falls noticeably or the electronic protection system triggers. Place the battery pack in storage only after it has been fully charged.
Protect the battery and the tool from overloads. Overloads will quickly result in overheating and cell damage inside the battery housing even if this overheating is not apparent externally.
Avoid damage and shocks. Immediately replace batteries that have been dropped from a height of more than
3 feet (1 meter) or those that have been exposed to violent shocks, even if the housing of the battery pack appears to be undamaged. The battery cells inside the battery may have suffered serious damage. In such instances, please read the waste disposal information for proper battery disposal.
If the battery pack suffers overloading and overheating, the integrated protective cutoff will switch off the equipment for safety reasons.
IMPORTANT! Do not press the power supply button any more if the protective cut-off has been activated. This may damage the battery pack.

Information about the charger and the charging process

Please check the data marked on the rating plate of the battery charger. Be sure to connect the battery charger to a power supply with the voltage marked on the rating plate. Never connect it to a different mains voltage.
Protect the battery charger and its cord from damage. Keep the charger and its cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Have damaged cords repaired without delay by a qualified technician at an authorized Snow Joe® + Sun Joe® dealer or call the Snow Joe® + Sun Joe® customer service center at 1-866-SNOWJOE (1-866-766-9563).
Electrical plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with grounded appliances. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
Keep the battery charger, battery pack and the cordless tool out of the reach of children.
Do not use the supplied battery charger to charge other cordless tools.
During periods of heavy use, the battery pack will become warm. Allow the battery pack to cool to room temperature before connecting with the charger to recharge.
Do not overcharge batteries. Do not exceed the maximum charging times. These charging times only apply to discharged batteries. Frequent insertion of a charged or partially charged battery pack will result in overcharging and cell damage. Do not leave batteries in the charger for days on end.
Never use or charge the battery if you suspect that it has been more than 12 months since the last time they were charged. There is a high probability that the battery pack has already suffered dangerous damage (exhaustive discharge).
Charging batteries at a temperature below 41°F (5°C) will cause chemical damage to the cells and may cause a fire.
Do not use batteries that have been exposed to heat during the charging process, as the battery cells may have suffered dangerous damage.
Do not use batteries that have suffered curvature or deformation during the charging process or those that exhibit other atypical symptoms (gassing, hissing, cracking, etc.).
Never fully discharge the battery pack (maximum recommended depth of discharge is 80%). A complete discharge of the battery pack will lead to premature aging of the battery cells.

Protection from environmental influences

Protect your cordless tool and the battery charger from moisture and rain. Moisture and rain can cause dangerous cell damage.
Do not use the cordless tool or the battery charger near vapors and flammable liquids.
Use the battery charger and cordless tools only in dry conditions and at an ambient temperature of 41ºF – 105°F (5°C – 40.5°C).
Do not keep the battery charger in places where the temperature is liable to reach over 105°F (40.5°C). In particular, do not leave the battery charger in a car that is parked in the sunshine.
Protect batteries from overheating. Overloads, overcharging and exposure to direct sunlight will result in overheating and cell damage. Never charge or work with batteries that have been overheated – replace them immediately, if possible.
Store the charger and your cordless tool only in dry locations with an ambient temperature of 41ºF – 105°F
(5°C – 40.5°C). Store your lithium-ion battery pack in a cool, dry place at a temperature of 77°F (25°C). Protect the battery pack, charger and cordless tool from humidity and direct sunlight. Only place fully charged batteries in storage (charged to at least 40%).
Prevent the lithium-ion battery pack from freezing. Battery packs that were stored below 32°F (0°C) for more than 60 minutes must be discarded.
When handling batteries, be wary of electrostatic charge. Electrostatic discharges can damage the electronic protection system and the battery cells. Avoid electrostatic charging and never touch the battery poles.

NOTE: Do not discard the shipping carton and packaging material until you are ready to use the wet/dry vacuum.

IMPORTANT! The equipment and packaging material are not toys. Do not let children play with plastic bags, foils or small parts. These items can be swallowed and pose a suffocation risk!

Assembly

WARNING! To avoid serious personal injury, read and understand all safety instructions provided.
WARNING! Do not connect to power supply until assembly is complete. Failure to comply could result in accidental starting and possible serious personal injury.
WARNING! Before performing any maintenance, make sure the tool is unplugged from the power supply. Failure to heed this warning could result in serious personal injury.
WARNING! To prevent personal injury, make sure the switch is in the OFF position before attaching or removing the suction hose.

Turn the dust tank upside down, and insert the 2 Caster wheels into the holes at the bottom of base. Press wheels down firmly to secure (Fig. 1).
Install the 2 Large wheels ‘1’ and ‘2’ into the correct positions as shown. Fix them into place with 2 screws each (Fig. 1).
Depress the locking button on the air inlet while inserting the hose connector. Push firmly to secure (Fig. 2).
Two extension tubes are included with the unit. If needed, take the slightly narrowed end of the first extension tube and using a twisting motion, insert into the attachment handle. Press firmly to secure. In the same manner, assemble the second tube (Fig. 3).
Select desired accessory, connect it with the end of the extension tube, press firmly to lock securely. Your wet/dry vacuum is ready for use. If no extension is needed, connect the desired accessory directly to the attachment handle (Fig. 4).

Operation

WARNING! This equipment incorporates parts such as switches, motors or the like that tend to produce arcs or sparks that can cause an explosion. Do not pick up flammable, combustible, or hot materials. Do not use around explosive liquids or vapors, as electrical devices produce arcs or sparks which can cause a fire or explosion – do not use at filling stations or anywhere gasoline is stored or dispensed.

Starting + Stopping
Do not switch on the wet/dry vacuum until it has been completely assembled. Before switching on the unit, always check the power cord for signs of damage. Use only intact cords.
WARNING! Damaged cords pose a severe risk of injury. Replace damaged cords immediately.
WARNING! Before switching on the wet/dry vacuum, make sure that it is not in contact with any foreign objects.

Make sure the filters are installed before starting.
Make sure the power head and the suction hose are installed properly and locked securely.
Install the desired brush attachment onto the end of the hose. Use the extension tubes if needed.
Check that the electrical supply voltage and frequency (Volt/Hz) correspond to those specified on the rating plate. Plug the power cord into the outlet (Fig. 5). If an extension cord is used, make a knot with the two cords as shown in Table 1.
To start the unit, turn the ON/OFF switch to the ON position (Fig. 6), as indicated.
To stop the unit, turn the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position (Fig. 6), as indicated.
To adjust the strength of the airflow, move the sliding block on the attachment handle (Fig. 7).

Operating Tips
This electric wet/dry vacuum is designed to clean hard surfaces. It is only suitable for vacuuming wet or dry, light materials. The vacuuming of heavy materials such as metal, stones, branches, broken glass is expressly excluded.

WARNING! Use the wet/dry vacuum only in daylight or good artificial light.

Make sure the power head is properly installed and secured when using. Make sure each lock is secured. Failure to properly secure the locks could cause the power head to release from the tank.
Double check to make sure the filters are not broken or torn. Do not use filters that are broken or torn. Handle the filters carefully when removing and installing.
To reduce the risk of hearing loss associated with sound level(s), hearing protection is required.
Always direct the cord backwards, away from the unit.
This unit is intended for indoor use only. Do not use this unit outdoors.
Be extremely careful when working on slopes and stairs.
Always move forward by walking. Never run.
Clean up after using the wet/dry vacuum. Dispose of debris appropriately.
Always use the carrying handle for transporting the equipment.

WARNING! To avoid personal injury, wear ear protectors when operating this unit. Wear a face mask or dust mask in dusty locations.

Air Inlet
Never cover the air inlets. Keep them free from obstructions and debris. They must always remain clear for proper motor cooling.
WARNING! To avoid personal injury, do not wear loose fitting clothing or articles such as scarves, necklaces, chains, ties, etc., that could get drawn into the air inlet. To make sure long hair does not get drawn into the air inlet, tie back long hair.

Basic Vacuum Procedures
WARNING! Do not vacuum drywall dust, fireplace soot or ash with the unit. This is very fine dust which will not be captured by the filter and may cause damage to motor.
WARNING! The foam filter must be used for wet vacuuming, and make sure to clean the foam filter after wet
vacuuming.

Place the equipment on a level surface that is not heat sensitive.
Always use the suction hose for vacuuming. Hold the suction hose at a distance of approximately 0.4 in. (1 cm) above the material to be vacuumed.

WARNING! When vacuuming large quantities of liquids, do not immerse the brush attachment completely in the liquid; leave a gap at the tip of the brush attachment opening to allow air inflow. The machine is fitted with a float valve that stops the suction action when the collection tank reaches its maximum capacity. You will notice a decrease in motor speed. When this happens, turn off the machine, disconnect from power supply, and drain the liquid into a suitable receptacle or drain. To continue vacuuming, refit the collection tank with the power head.

To prevent overheating of the motor, stop the unit for one minute after every 15 minutes of using.
Turn off and unplug the unit after vacuuming, before cleaning and maintenance. After wet vacuuming, empty the collection tank, clean and dry the inside and outside before storage.
Empty the tank outside in order to avoid a mess.
Clean or change the filters (see Maintenance section) if the suction performance deteriorates. Never use the appliance without the filter.

WARNING! Never remove the power head without first turning the power switch to the OFF position and unplugging the unit from the main power source.

Releasing and Assembling the Power Head
WARNING! To prevent personal injury, make sure the switch is in the OFF position and the unit is unplugged before attaching or removing the power head.

To remove the power head, lift and release the locking to latches to open up the housing (Fig. 8).
To reattach the power head, fit the power head onto the tank and fasten the locking latches.
NOTE: The power head must be attached any time the unit is being operated.

Maintenance

WARNING! Before inspecting, cleaning, or servicing the unit, stop the heat gun and remove the battery pack, wait for the heat gun to cool. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious personal injury or property damage.
WARNING! When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts could create a hazard or cause product damage.

General Cleaning Tips

The heat gun should be kept clean, dry, and free of oil or grease. Only a mild soap and damp cloth should be used to clean the heat gun. Do not allow liquid to enter the tool.
The high temperatures of the heat gun will cause the heat outlet to turn dark over time. This is normal and will not affect its performance or life.
Air vents must be kept clean and free of foreign matter.
The most effective method of cleaning the vents is with compressed air. Do not attempt to clean by inserting pointed objects through the openings.
WARNING! Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

Storage

WARNING! The heat outlet of the heat gun will stay hot for a while after use. Always allow heat gun to cool before storage. Following this rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury or property damage.

Switch off and remove the battery. Cool down the unit. Thoroughly clean the housing.
Store the heat gun, with the battery and charger indoors in a safe location out of the reach of children.

Disposal

Recycling the tool

Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste. Use separate collection facilities.
Contact your local government agency for information regarding the collection systems available.
If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposal at least free of charge.

Recycling + Disposal
The product comes in a package that protects it against damage during shipping. Keep the package until you are sure that all parts have been delivered and the product is functioning properly. Recycle the package afterwards or keep it for long-term storage. WEEE symbol. Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or local store for recycling regulations.

Battery Caution + Disposal
Always dispose of your battery pack according to federal, state, and local regulations. Contact a recycling agency in your area for recycling locations.

CAUTION! Even discharged battery packs contain some energy. Before disposing, use electrical tape to cover the terminals to prevent the battery pack from shorting, which could cause a fire or explosion.

WARNING! To reduce the risk of injury or explosion, never burn or incinerate a battery pack even if it is damaged, dead or completely discharged. When burned, toxic fumes and materials are emitted into the surrounding atmosphere.

Batteries vary according to device. Consult your manual for specific information.
Install only new batteries of the same type in your product (where applicable).
Failure to insert the battery in the correct polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment or manual, may shorten the life of the batteries or cause batteries to leak.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc) or Rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium, Nickel Metal Hydride, or Lithium-Ion) batteries.
Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.
