Assembly
-
First, remove the collection bin from the sweeper body. Then take out the plastic bag containing the bristle brushes, bolts, screw knobs and the collection bin handle.
-
Attach both bristle brushes onto their fixtures on the bottom of the push sweeper using six thread forming screws (Fig. 1).
-
Attach the collection bin handle to the collection bin using the two remaining thread forming screws (Fig. 2).
-
Attach the lower frame onto the sweeper body using two sets of screw knobs and carriage bolts. Then attach the upper frame onto the lower frame using two curved-head bolts and the remaining two screw knobs. Tighten the knobs clockwise by hand to ensure a secure fit (Fig. 3).
NOTE: Attach the upper frame via the bottom pair of holes for a shorter handle height of 37.8 in. (96 cm), or via the top pair of holes for a handle height of 40 in. (101 cm). -
To adjust the angle of the frame, loosen the bottom pair of screw knobs, then pull up and pivot the frame to set the pins into the front slot for a lower angle (38°), or the rear slot for a higher angle (50°). Retighten the screw knobs at the desired angle (Fig. 4). help@snowjoe.com
Operation
- Hold the handle with both hands and walk forwards to sweep. Ensure that the rear wheels have sufficient contact with the ground in order to rotate the bristle brushes (Fig. 5).
- To empty the push sweeper, pull off the collection bin from the sweeper body (Fig. 6) and empty its contents into an appropriate waste container, i.e. garbage, compost or recycling (Fig. 7).
Storage
- To fold down the frame for storage, loosen the bottom pair of screw knobs, then pull up and pivot the frame downward to set the pins into the highest slot. Retighten the screw knobs once the frame is folded (Fig. 8).
- Stow or hang the push sweeper in a dry place. Avoid placing other objects on top of the push sweeper during storage.

- Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight to ensure the device remains in good working order.
