OHYAMA IC-FAC2 Mattress Cleaner
Safety Precautions
Please read the “Safety Precautions” carefully before use so as to use the product properly. In order to avoid injury to you and others as well as unnecessary property damage, the Safety Precautions here will be illustrated through two levels of “warning” and “notice”, which are important contents on safety precautions to be strictly observed.

Please do not splash or immerse the vacuum in water.

Do not use near water or in spaces with high humidity levels, such as bathrooms.

Do not use to clean liquid or damp materials. As this may cause a short circuit, electrical shock or breakage.

Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
Avoid electric shock, scald and injury. -
Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Avoid fire and electric shock due to short circuit.

Do not use the vacuum cleaner to clean flammable liquids such as kerosene, gasoline and Xina water etc., sparking objects and flammable dust such as toner etc., or use the vacuum cleaner near the above objects to prevent fire.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Please do not disassemble, modify or repair the product.

Do not charge in a DC outlet or with an electric generator .
Avoid fire and electric shock. -
Please clean dust off the device regularly. Avoid deteriorated insulating property due to wetness, which may lead to fire and electric shock.

Please insert the charging convert into the socket firmly.
Avoid fire and electric shock due to short circuit. -
When issues occur, please stop use immediately to avoid smoking, fire or electrical shock.
Please cut off the power, unplug the device, and contact Iris Ohyama France SAS customer service to determine the issue and make any repairs.- The device doesn’t work with the switch is “ON”
- The device consistently stops while running
- The charging or power cord does not function properly
- The device is damaged or overheats when it shouldn’t
- The device smells like it is burning
- The device makes an abnormal noise while running

Please remove the plug from the outlet and remove dust or dirt regularly
Avoid electrical shock or injury. -
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Please do not use the product for long in condition of blocked suction inlet.

Please make the suction inlet blocked.
Or it may lead to deformation or fault of the main body due to overheat, which may result in fire. -
Please do not drag the main body of the product. Or it may damage the surface of the floor.

Or it may lead to personal injury or damage to the main body of the product. -
Please do not drag the charging power line while unplugging the plug or the charging converter. Or it may lead to electric shock, short circuit or fire due to damaged charging power line.

Please do not use the product or keep it in places at temperature of more than 50℃ (in vehicles under sunshine, places directly under sunshine, places near to heating devices).
Avoid deformation of the main body or fire.
Correct Disposal of this product

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.

Please do not drop, break, hit against other objects or put pressure on the vacuum. Or it may lead to fire or electric shock.

Please clean the contents out of the dust cup in water, and avoid collected dust splattering. Parts of the mesh filter should be cleaned in water.

Please properly assemble the dust cup and place it into the device.

Please make sure to hold the handle of the main body of the product .
Avoid personal injury or damage to the floor due to the falling down of the main body.
Use the plug and power cord properly -
Clean the dust on the plug regularly to prevent dust accumulation
which may cause poor insulation and in turn, fire and electric shock. -
Please insert the plug deep in the socket
to prevent short circuit and in turn, electric shock and fire. -
If the power cord is damaged, please have professional personnel from the maintenance department of the manufacturing or other similar departments changing it for you.
Usage Precautions
- The Mattress Cleaner is applied to indoor environment only. Please do not apply it to outdoor conditions.
- Use only on cloth products such as mattresses, futons, pillows, carpet, sofa, etc.
- The product is applied to dust collection at home only. Please do not apply it to business.Please do not apply it to usage except for cleaning.
- Please do not collect the following articles to avoid the blockage of the filter or leading to fault.
- Liquids
- wet garbage
- powder articles
- glasses
- harp articles such as needles
- large amount of sands
- Please do not press the dust collector head and the dust collector brush on floors, walls or furniture by force, or collide the main body of the product to columns, walls or furniture. Or it may lead to damage or breakage.
- Please install the special-purpose filter correctly.

Vortex Airflow + Strong Flap
Vortex airflow: vortex airflow is generated at the head of the cleaner. It can clean out more than 98% of the dust within 3 minutes. (Result of internal test of the company)
Strong flap: flapping head vibrates at a high speed, sucking out the dust and acarid inside the quilt and mattress. 6000 vibrations per minutes.
How to Use
(operation method)
Unlock
Hold the collection head firmly in place, then lower the handle to unlock.
- The movable ranges are as shown in the right figure.
- Product cannot be used in the 90°upright position (storage position)
Start cleaning
-
Press the power button to change to Standard mode.
-
Press the mode button again to change to low mode.
Pressing the mode button to changes to the mode. -
Running under High Mode
Press and hold the mode button, the product will operate under the High Mode (flapping).
Press the mode button under the High Mode to switch back to Standard Mode.
When finished cleaning
Press the power button to change the mode until the vacuum stops.
Return to storage position.
Hold the collect head firmly in place, then raise the handle until it locks in
place.
Blinking Operation Light
When the filter is clogged, it automatically turns the power down to LOW to
prevent it from overheating. Empty the dust filter when contents reach this
point.
Depending on the operation mode, the humidity of the room, and the
environment, the operation light may flash and decrease power.
Notice
- Do not use this vacuum cleaner to clean the following objects:
- Liquid
- Wet litter/debris
- Powder
- Broken Glass
- Sharp or pin type objects
- Sand or gravel
- Please do not clean large amounts of litter/debris in one pass to avoid blocking the intake port and decreasing suction.
- Do not use on floors, walls or furniture. Do not pull on the main body and avoid hitting walls or furniture.
- To avoid decreased suction, clogged filter, or damage to the product, empty the dust cup after.
Hot Air
During use, direct the hot air towards the cleaning surface to more
effectively get rid of dust mites.
- The hot air function uses a motor, and may take some time for the air to heat up.
(Use in rooms at lower temperatures may take longer to produce hot air. )
How to Use (cleaning of beds)
-
Please spread out the bedding or mattress pad to lay flat (no folds).

Unlock
Please refer to P5 How to Use (operation method). -
When the device is on, move back and forth every 10 seconds.
Please do not forcefully press down the collection head.
Daily Cleaning
Please clean the surrounding areas of pillows where acarids, scurf and dust are prone to accumulate every two days.
Thorough Cleaning
Clean the quilt thoroughly once a week, and clean the mattress thoroughly once a month.
About the Sensors
Dust Sensor
Dust and dust mite sensor works during use, and light indicates the amount of
dust on the surface area.
When cleaning carpets or other items with high dust levels, indicator light
will not turn green.
Waste Removal
(cleaning of the dust collecting filter)
Please clear and clean regularly to maintain higher suction capabilities.

Remove the dust cup.
Press the buttons on either side of the dust cup to remove it. -
Remove the mesh filter in water.
To avoid splattering of dust, please remove the mesh filter from the dust cup in water. -
Clean the mesh filter.
Clean the dust stuck to the filter, then rinse the filter with running water.
Soak the dust cup in water with a diluted clean agent for several minutes for easy removal of accumulated dust. -
Dry.
Place the dust cup and filter in a well ventilated area until fully dry.
When cleaning the mesh filter set, please do not use washing machine or other heated device as this may cause product deformation. -
Reassemble the mesh filter.
Place the mesh filter set back into the dust cup.
Pay attention to the direction.
Notice Please reassemble correctly to avoid damaging the product. -
Reassemble the dust cup.
- Place the mesh filter in the dust cup, and then place the dust cup back into the vacuum body until you hear it click into place.
- Please verify that both buttons are clicked firmly in place.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Warning Cleaning and maintenance must be done after unplugging the vacuum.
Notice
- Please do not splash water on the vacuum body as this could cause damage.
- Use a diluted neutral cleaning agent.
- Use of strong cleaning agents such as amyl acetic ester, alcohol, oil, etc. can cause fading, deformation or breakdown.
Vacuum Body
Fully wring out a rag and use it to wipe down the body and any remaining
cleaner.
Dust Indicator
Remove the dust cup and clean both sides of the sensors with a cotton swab.
※ Please clean regularly to avoid dust buildup, causing sensor to function
poorly.
Collection Head
- Clean hair, string and other small objects from the dust intake port using tweezers to prevent dust buildup and decreased suction. Please clean it regularly.
- Please clean dirt on the agitator with a brush.

Replacement of Consumables
Please follow the instructions below for replacing the mesh dust filter, mesh exhaust filter, and battery.
Dust Filter Replacement
Please see P7 “Waste Removal” for how to remove filter set.
- Remove the dust filter.
- Hold the filter cap with fingers.
- Turn the dust mesh filter until latches no longer line up.
- Remove the filter from the filter cap.
- Insert new dust filter.
- Line up the latches, insert the new mesh filter, and twist to lock into place.
- Press the filter in the dust cup until it clicks into place.
Exhaust Filter Mesh Replacement

Remove exhaust filter cover.
- Turn the filter cover counterclockwise.
- Remove.

Change exhaust filter.
Remove filter and insert new filters.
※ Side with a hole is placed facing inwards. -
Replace filter cover.
Place filter cover back on the vacuum and turn it clockwise to lock into place.

Should be replaced every 6 to 12 months depending on frequency of use. If broken or damaged, please replace. -
Exhaust Filter, (2 PC) CF-FH2
Should be replaced every year. If broken or damaged, or if poor ventilation or abnormal odors occur, please replace.

Warranty card
Please make sure to ask for the warranty card from the retail shop and confirm that all related items have been filled.
Please pay for related charges for repair within the warranty period if no warranty card can be shown. Please keep the warranty card appropriately. -
Within the warranty period
Warranty period: 2 years since the purchase day. The company will provide free repair as per the “Warranty Provisions” in condition of fault within the warranty period. -
Over the warranty period
Please consult to the retail shop or Iris Ohyama France SAS customer service, and you need to pay for related repair expenses. -
About the remaining period of spares parts
The remaining period of the important parts of the company is five years after the stop production of the product. -
About the after-sales service
Please consult to the retail shop or Iris Ohyama France SAS customer service for other after-sales matters.
Warranty Provisions
- The company will provide free repair or replacement in condition of fault or damage under normal operating conditions as per the matters needing attention on the labels pasted on the operation manual and the product.
- The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by an authorized service centre. When making a claim under the warranty, the original bill of purchase (with purchase date) must be submitted.
- The warranty contents are only limited to free repair on the product. No other warranty service is provided even within the warranty period. The warranty only covers defects in material or workmanship.
- If it is impossible to entrust the retail shop filled in the warranty card due to shop relocation or the product is given as a present, please consult to the customer service center of Iris.
- The warranty will not apply in cases of:
- Normal wear and tear
- Incorrect use, e.g. overloading of the appliance, use of non-approved accessories
- The faults and damages caused by falling down after purchase. Use of force, damage caused by external influences
- The faults and damages caused by fire, earthquake or other natural disasters
