SET UP THE COLLAR

INSERT THE SIM CARD AND CONNECT THE BATTERY POWER CABLE INSIDE THE UNIT NITEforce-Live-MAP-Dog-GPS-fig-1 SIM / BATTERY / CHARGING

  1. Loosen both cover screws with the supplied screwdriver. Be careful not to lose the small mounting screws

  2. Insert the operator SIM card as shown above picture. HINT: To prevent the effects of any vibrations or bumps in the
    terrain, insert a small piece of clear tape into backside of the SIM card to secure it in place against hard vibrations
    NOTE! If you use a so-called “Pre-Paid” SIM card, be sure to activate it, for example, with your mobile phone (test call)
    and always turn off the PIN code of the SIM card before inserting it
    NOTE! Slow speed 2G data subscriptions work fine with the collar. Geolocation is default at 15-second intervals via a
    GPRS connection
    NOTE! For example, the device alerts you when the battery is low (less than 20%) as a text message, so it is a good
    idea to have text message functions supported on the SIM when used with collar

  3. Before closing the cover, connect the battery cable to the power port shown on the circuit board

  4. Carefully tighten the screws on the device cover with the screwdriver provided, and check that the cover is securely fastened. Be careful not to get the battery power cable caught during closing!

  5. With the SIM card in place, the battery cable connected and the cover is closed, you can now charge the collar with the supplied charging cable. Use your own mobile phone charger. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge the battery

  6. The battery cable adapter connects to the charging port in one direction only. See figure

Estimated Battery operation hours

At location point intervals of 15 seconds, the device can provide location information continuously for up to 12 hours at optimum temperatures (+ 5°C to

  • 25°C). If necessary, the update interval can be extended with the NITEforce Live Map APP, if the dog stays in the field overnight and it is needed to save the battery power consumption

ADD USER(s)

Adding a user to your collar takes place via a text message, sending it from the master user’s mobile phone to the collar’s phone number. You can add one or more users at a time. Master user 1 can change settings using the APP. Users 2-5 can only call the collar number and it will respond with the current location message. All users can track the dog and their own location live on the map by signing in to the Live Map APP with the same IDs. Master User 1, can change the collar settings using the APP

  1. Turn ON the collar with the included small magnet by holding it top of the LED light for a few seconds. You will see an LED light when the collar turns ON
  2. Users will be added to the collar with the master user mobile phone (Master user 1) by sending the text message below to the collar number (USE CAPITAL LETTERS).

HINT: At this point, save the collar SIM phone number in the memory of your mobile phone, for example as Dog GPS, and continue sending the text message

Master user 1 adding to the collar (setting changes from APP). Add Master user 1 with following text message: FACID,123456,AUTHORIZE,1=+358mynumber;
Adding user 2 to the collar (user 2 can make a location call, not able to do settings changes from the APP). Add user 2
with following text message:
FACID,123456,AUTHORIZE,1=+358mynumber,2=+358friendnumber;
Adding user 3 to the collar (user 3 can make a location call, not able to do settings changes from the APP). Add user 3
with following text message:
FACID,123456,AUTHORIZE,1=+358friendnumber,2=+358friendnumber,3=+358friendnumber;
After successful user addition, collar responds as a text message to Master User 1 with the information:
FACID authorize OK!

ACTIVATE SERVER FOR YOUR COLLAR

For activating own server space, Master user 1 sends the following text message to the collar:
FACID,123456,GPRS,ADDR=5.189.191.57,PORT=5024,NAME=,PASS=,APN=Internet,MODE=0;
After successful server space opening, the collar responds as a text message to the Master user to 1 number with the
information:
FACID GPRS OK!

OPEN THE FREE MAP SERVICE

Master user 1 sends the following text message to the collar: FACID,123456,LOC,I=10,T=999;
After successful map service opening, the collar responds as a text message to Master user 1 with the information: FACID LOC OK! I = 10, T = 999

TAKE COLLAR OUTSIDE

Now you can then take the collar outside, or to an open area next to the window. You will see when the LED light flashes quickly about 2 times per second so then you know collar is active. NOTE: If collar is not moved in 2 minutes, it will go automatically to sleep mode. It will wake up when moved again.

DOWNLOAD THE NITEforce LIVE MAP Android APP from the GOOLE Play STORE

Master 1 user downloads the NITEforce Live Map Android APP from the Google Play Store. Use search word “NITEforce Live Map”. Register / log in as a new user by entering your own email and creating a passwordNITEforce-Live-MAP-
Dog-GPS-fig-3

NOTE: If the collar location is followed by more than one user, you can share the same login user name and passwordwith your group. Then all are able to observe the same dog / collar location with own mobile phones.
After logging in to the APP, add a collar from “MANAGE DEVICES” by adding a collar using your own collar IMEI code. The IMEI code is displayed on the product package label and on the GSM module inside the housing. You can also request the IMEI code by using a text message. Master user 1 sends the following text message to the collar:
FACID,123456,QUERY,STATUS;
The collar responds after a successful IMEI code query as a text message to the Master user to 1 number with the information:
FACID query OK! IMEI: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Add collar information to NITEforce Live Map APP. Master user 1 add collar name, phone number in the format +358xxxxxxxx and sets standard password: a123456 You can also change the color of the “dog icon” if you want. After downloading and entering the required information into the NITEforce Live Map software APP, call your own collar number on your mobile phone. The collar alarms once, after that you hear busy tone – end the call. Now the “Dog Icon” will appear in the NITEforce Live Map APP map view. Your own location dot will appear in Blue.
NOTE: You will also receive information about the location of the collar via SMS, if you make a call to collar.
NOTE: If you are inside indoors with your own phone, your own location may appear as a Red “network location”. That is not as accurate as the Blue GPS location (approx. 5m accuracy). Your mobile phone’s online positioning is based on cross-scanning your operator’s masts, which can mis-represent your own location for up to several hundred meters. Go outdoors to have your own phone GPS satellite and show your own location in more detail using GPS (Blue).

Now your GPS Dog collar and the Live Map APP are ready to use

NOTICE

  • If the collar is not moved for 2 minutes, it will switch to standby mode automatically. In this case, it does not send location information automatically, which saves battery power. The device will turn on automatically if it moves. The device can go into standby mode when driving on a flat surface road unless the dog moves in a car or if the collar drops or the dog has to lie down due to an accident. If the collar is in standby mode and not moving, then you can call the number of the collar in standby mode, it

  • will alert you once and let it be busy note tone. After it will send the location information to the user.

  • If the APP information or location does not appear updated when you press the “Dog icon”, close the map tab on your mobile phone’s screen and log in to the APP again.

  • The open tab is “outdated” which shows old outdated information. That will update by logging in to the APP again

  • With APP, you can track more than one person on the same Live Map if they are logged in to APS with the same login credentials

  • The standard update interval is every 15 seconds and is done via the GPRS data connection
    Copyright © 2022 – www.niteforce.mobi

  • Update cycles can be set between 0 and 999. In APP, standard update times set to 999 (999 = infinity)

  • If the update interval is set for example every 10 seconds, in practice the location information is visualized every 12 seconds because the GPRS connection linked to the

  • APP of your phone via the server, can cause an extra delay in visualization for a couple of seconds

  • Enter the password for the commands in the Live Map software APP: a123456

  • The collar sends a low battery alert via SMS to the Master user when the battery charge (less than 20%) decreases. For a 1% charge, the device will send a notification and turn it off, then charge it for at least 1 hour

  • Li-on battery life always varies depending on prevailing air temperature and refresh rate

  • Always charge the battery after and prior outdoor use (use 5.0V / 1000mA mobile phone chargers)

  • Collar Operating temperatures: -10°C to + 40°C

  • Weather protection rating when screws tightly closed: IP67 (protected from dust and immersion for 30min at a maximum water depth of 15cm)
