Instruction

HOW TO USE THE REMOTE

Using instruction

  1. Place two ‘AAA’ batteries properly in the battery compartment of remote control and close the compartment properly.
  2. Long press the “Power” button for 2 seconds and you will hear two short beeps when the remote is on. Same way to turn off the remote.
  3. Long press the “Light” button for 2 seconds and you will hear two short beeps when the lights are on. Same way to turn off the lights.
  4. Long press the “Hopper Release” button for 2 seconds and you will hear two short beeps when the hopper is released.
  5. Long press the “Cruise Control” button for 2 seconds and you will hear two beeps when Cruise Control is on. Now the boat will sail automatically.
    • If any deviation happens, please slightly push the joystick left or right to adjust the direction.
    • To exit Cruise Control, please push the joystick down.
HOW TO TURN ON THE BAIT BOAT
  1. Place the boat battery in the compartment, power on and close the compartment properly.
  2. Place the boat on the level ground, switch on the power and wait for 10 seconds till the boat is on.
    Note: To optimize the performance of the boat, please ensure it is placed on the level groud when turning on.

Charging instruction

Please charge the battery separately after taking it out of the battery compartment (please refer to image above).

HOW TO CALIBRATE THE REMOTE
  1. When the boat and remote are off, press and hold on the “Light” button, then long press the “Power” button. It enters the calibration mode when it beeps.

  2. Move the joystick in circles full stroke and then return the joystick to the neutral position.

  3. Press the “Cruise Control” button. If it emits a long beep, then the calibration is done.

HOW TO PAIRING THE REMOTE

  1. When the boat and remote are off, long press the “Power” and “Hopper Release” button together until the remote beeps.

  2. Next, turn on the boat. If it emits a long beep, then it’s paired.

Maintenance of Battery

  • For long-term storage, please ensure the power switches of both the CatchX Mini and its remote control are turned off, and the power level of the CatchX Mini battery is greater than 80%. If not, the battery will be over-discharged due to a failure of normal use.
  • Storage temperature: -20’C-45’C (within one month).
  • To prevent over-discharge and avoid decreasing the battery lifetime, the battery should be fully charged every month, as long-term storage will have a negative impact.
