TROUBLESHOOTING

Why I cannot control my boat by remote?
- Check if the boat still stays on Auto Mode. If this is the case, press and hold the “Enter/ESC” button to exit such mode.
- Check if the boat still stays on Cruise Control. If this is the case, pull down the joystick to exit it.
- The remote is out of power, the boat will return to the home point by itself.
- The boat is out of power. Recall the boat promptly when the battery voltage approaches 6.5V. Set the home point and low battery return value before each voyage.
-
Why is my boat taking an extended period or having trouble reaching the designated task point or home point?
- It is possible that the GPS positioning of the boat is constantly being calibrated due to turbulent underwater currents. Please be patient and wait for the calibration process to complete.
- If the boat does not respond to the commands after waiting for 3-4 minutes, manual operation can be considered as an alternative option.
-
Why is it that my phone and the boat’s Wi-Fi are connected, but the boat control interface still shows as not connected?
- The map has not been pre-loaded and it is necessary to preload the map on the app.
- After connecting to Wi-Fi, please make sure to turn off your cellular data or mobile data to avoid interference.
-
Why is there a significant deviation in the arrival position of my boat?”
Please do the calibration before each voyage. -
Why is there no response after I press the button?
Some buttons require a long press, while others require a short press. Please read the instructions carefully and follow the stepsaccordingly.
TIPS
- Update for the APP: Please go to the proper and relevant app store to update the Rippton APP from time to time according to the system notification;

- If the boat is not going to be used for some months, please recharge the batteries every month;
- The distance between two spots you select should be over 5 meters;
