This quick start guide contains important information on the safe operation of the product. Read and follow the safety advice and instructions given. Retain the quick start guide for future reference. If you pass the product on to others please include this quick start guide.

Safety instructions

Intended use
This device is intended for use as an electronic lighting effect by means of LED technology. The device is designed for professional use only and is not suitable for use in households. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages resulting from improper use.

Danger for children
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts from the product. They could swallow the pieces and choke! Never let children unattended use electrical devices.

Electric shock caused by high voltages inside
Within the device there are areas where high voltages may be present. Never remove any covers. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Do not use the device when covers, safety equipment or optical components are missing or damaged.

Electric shock caused by short circuit
Do not modify the mains cable or the plug. Failure to do so may result in electric shock and lead to a fire hazard and risk of death. If in doubt, seek advice from a registered electrician.

Eye damage caused by high light intensity
Never look directly into the light source.

Risk of fire
Do not block areas of ventilation. Do not install the device near any direct heat source. Keep the device away from naked flames.

Power supply
Connect the device directly to the power grid. This device must not be conntected to a dimmer. Before connecting the device, ensure that the input voltage (AC outlet) matches the voltage rating of the device and that the AC outlet is protected by a residual current circuit breaker. Failure to do so could result in damage to the device and possibly the user. Unplug the device before electrical storms occur and when it is unused for long periods of time to reduce the risk of electric shock or fire.

Connecting the DMX IP65 connectors

Proceed as follows to connect the DMX-IP65 connectors:

  1. Insert the plug completely and straight into the coupling.
  2. Make sure that the flexible sealing ring has complete contact.
  3. Turn the union nut straight onto the thread of the coupling.
    Hand-tighten the union nut.
