Getting started

Your baby monitor is composed of two units,

  • the parent unit, which serves as an audio and visual alarm
  • when the baby unit detects talking or

This device has a VOX mode that lets the transmitter (baby unit) go into standby mode automatically when your baby is happily sleeping. It only activates if needed: when sound is detected.

Place of installation

Set up the baby unit at least 1 m away from your baby.

  • Baby unit: connect the power cord to the unit, then plug the power cord into the wall socket.
  • Parent unit: remove the battery compartment cover and insert the two batteries provided, paying attention to the indicated polarity Put the cover back on. If the batteries are depleted, connect the parent unit’s
  • Connect the parent unit’s mains adapter to the unit and plug the mains adapter into a wall socket. Leave to charge for 16 hours.  mains adapter to the unit and plug the mains adapter into a wall socket to recharge the batteries.

Comments:

  • The first time you use the monitor, leave the parent unit plugged in for 16 hours straight to fully charge the batteries.
  • Put the batteries in the parent unit before connecting the mains adapter.

Turning on/off

Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds on each of the units to turn the system on or off.

Operating

When both units are on, the ON indicator light on the baby unit is solid green.

Low battery

The batteries need to be recharged when the low battery indicator light on the parent unit starts flashing green and the unit starts beeping. The batteries last about 16 hours.
Connect the parent unit’s mains adapter to the unit and plug the mains adapter into a wall socket. Leave to charge for 16 hours.

Out of range

If the range limit indicator on the parent unit is solid green, then the units are positioned correctly in relation to one another and are the right distance apart.
If the range limit indicator on the parent unit is flashing green and the unit is beeping, then the units are not positioned correctly in relation to one another. You need to bring them closer together.

Sound level

The sound level indicator on the parent unit expands
Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds on each of the units to turn the system on or off. and changes colour as sound/crying gets louder.
The harder your baby is crying, the more colourful the indicator.

Volume control

The + and – buttons on the parent unit can be used to increase or decrease receiver volume. Press + or – to set the desired volume.

Important: the device can be muted!

•  Press and hold the ON/OFF button for three seconds.

Reception is poor, there’s interference

| •  Check the battery status.

•  Move the units closer together.

•  Increase the volume.

•  Move the Parent unit away from

any electronic devices that are operating.

•  Increase the distance between the parent unit and baby unit.
