The intended use of the device
The device is designed exclusively for the cooking of food – baking,
grilling and cooking, to the extent that it is determined by the technical and
operating parameters and functions, the safety and user instructions and the
external influences of the operating environment.
ORAVA electrical appliances are manufactured according to the state of the art
and recognized safety-technical rules. Nevertheless, the use or use contrary

Electrical safety

Before connecting the appliance to the power supply for the first time, make sure that the voltage on the appliance label corresponds to that of the household electrical outlet.

Using the device
Before using an electric oven
Before using the device for the first time:
- Read all the instructions contained in these operating instructions.
- Make sure that the oven is disconnected and the controls are in the off position.
- Wash all accessories in hot water with a detergent solution or in a dishwasher.
- Thoroughly dry all accessories and reassemble it in the oven and connect the oven to the electrical outlet.
After reconnecting the oven, we recommend that it be switched on at the highest temperature (230 °C) for the baking function for about 15 minutes in order to burn off the residues of the manufacturing preservatives. This also removes all traces of smells.
Note: There may be a slight smell of smoke and smoke (about 15 minutes) when first put into operation. It is a common and harmless phenomenon. It occurs as a result of burning of protective substances applied to the heater during production.
Cooking
The cooking plates of the devices allow for conventional cooking. You can
choose the type of cooking and set the power for such cooking.

Set the power setting thermostat to the right or left cooking plate (5, 7) to set the desired power (temperature) and boil.

When cooking is complete, switch off the hob by pressing the thermostat to 0.
Warning:
At the same time, you can use both the cooking plates and the oven. For
correct and trouble-free cooking, use only fl at bottom dishes. You avoid
frequent switching off and switching on the thermostat to reduce the cooking
time.
Warning!
The maximum volume of cooked food should not exceed 2 L per plate. If the
volume is larger, the electric sheet metal may overlap. The diameter of the
cooking pot must not exceed the diameter of the plate on which it is laid.
Baking/grilling/roasting
Oven equipment allows you to make regular baking or grilling. You can choose the type of transference and set the performance for such baking/grilling.

Connect the power cord to an electrical outlet.

Open the door, place the bottom of the food in a suitable baking pan/grill and close the door. For baking, use the supplied sheet or other suitable
baking sheet. If you want to grill, use the supplied grilling rack and place the drip tray beneath the grate.
To position the sheet, you can select one of the sheet positions. If you want to grill on the barbecue, use the supplied barbecue rack as well as the grill handle. -
Set the oven temperature setpoint thermostat (3) to set the desired temperature (100 – 230 °C) and the grill switch/heating elements switch
(8) turn on grilling or baking (heaters). The rotary switch allows you to select the following positions:
baking or grilling with the upper heating element (upper heating body + grill) baking with upper and lower heating elements + grill with lower heating element.
Do not leave the oven on without the food. The oven may overheat and become damaged.

Cleaning and maintenance of the device
Disconnect the power cord from the mains and allow it to cool down completely.
