Intermec CN51 Battery
Charge the Battery Pack
You need to fully charge the battery before you use it in your CN51. Batteries
can be charged after a partial discharge without affecting the original
battery capacity. A fully discharged battery charges in approximately 6 hours.
You can charge the 1015AB01 battery with these accessories:
- Quad Base (Model 1002UU04, 1002UU05) (with 1002UC04)
- Quad Charger (Model AC21)
You can charge a 1015AB01 battery installed in a CN51 with these accessories:
- AC Power Adapter (Model AE36)
- AC Power Adapter (Model AE37)
- Charge-Only Multidock (Model AD23)
- Quad Base (Model 1002UU04, 1002UU05) (with 1002UD04)
- Ethernet Multidock (Model AD24)
- Single Dock (Model AD27)
- Vehicle Dock (Model AV6, Model 1015AV01)
- Snap-on Adapters (1015AA01, 1015AA02, 1015AA03)

Important Recommendations
- Do not store the battery at temperatures above 60 °C (140 °F), such as inside a car on a hot day or in direct sunlight as this may damage the battery.
- Use battery pack 1015AB01 only with a CN51. Use of this battery pack in other devices could result in damage to the device or battery.
- Only charge your battery pack with a Honeywell-approved charger.
- Replace the battery only with another 1015AB01 battery.
- These batteries have been tested in accordance with applicable safety standards. Contact your local sales representative or distributor if this battery is no longer available.
- Promptly dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations. This battery pack contains Lithium-ion chemistry.
- Do not allow metallic conductive objects to contact battery terminals. Do not short-circuit a battery or throw it into a fit can explode and cause severe personal injury.
- Improper battery use may result in a fit hazard.
- For maximum battery life, charge the battery at 20 °C (68 °F) to 25 °C (77 °F) and store at 23 °C (73 °F) with a 50% charge.
