PRODUCT SAFETY GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

WARNING: Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR CHARGER

  1. Before charging, read the instructions.
  2. Do not use chargers for works other than those for which they are designed.
  3. The charging device must be protected from moisture.
  4. Do not use the charging device outdoors.
  5. Do not open the unit and keep it out of the reach of children.
  6. Ensure that the connection between the charger and your equipment is correctly positioned.
  7. Keep charger’s slots free of foreign objects and protect against dirt and humidity. Store in a dry and frost-free place.
  8. When charging your equipment, ensure that the charger is in a well-ventilated area and away from inflammable materials. Ensure that your equipment and charger are not left unsupervised during charging.
  9. Longer life and better performance can be obtained if your equipment is charged when the air temperature is between 15℃ and 25℃. Do not charge your equipment in air temperatures below 0℃, or above 40℃.
  10. Disconnect from your equipment when not charging or the charging is over.

SAFETY WARNINGS FOR BATTERY PACK

  • Do not dismantle, open or shred cells or battery pack.
  • Do not short-circuit a battery pack. Do not store battery packs haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by conductive materials. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
  • Do not expose battery pack to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
  • Do not subject battery pack to mechanical shock.
  • In the event of battery leaking, donot allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
  • Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or battery pack has been swallowed.
  • Keep battery pack clean and dry.
  • Wipe the battery pack terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
  • Battery pack needs to be charged before use. Always refer to this instruction and use the correct charging procedure.
  • Do not maintain battery pack on charge when not in use.
  • After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the battery pack several times to obtain maximum performance.
  • Battery pack gives its best performance when it is operated at normal room temperature (20 °C ± 5 °C).
  • When disposing of battery packs, keep battery packs of different electrochemical systems separate from each other.
  • Recharge only with the charger specified by WORX. Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
  • Do not use any battery pack which is not designed for use with the equipment.
  • Keep battery pack out of the reach of children.
  • Retain the original product literature for future reference.
  • Remove the battery from the equipment when not in use.
  • Dispose of properly.
  • Do not mix cells of different manufacture, capacity, size or type within a device.
  • Do not remove battery pack from its original packaging until required for use.
  • Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on the battery and ensure correct use.

CHARGING STEPS

Note: Please read the instructions carefully before use.

_ WARNING: _Do not use other chargers to charge the battery pack or use this charger to charge other battery packs and ordinary non-rechargeable batteries. It is forbidden to contact any metal object with the charger or the electrode of the battery pack.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATION

  1. Insert charging stand into battery pack
  2. Remove the charging stand First, press the battery pack button, then drag the charging stand to slide out.
  3. Note: When not in use, the charging stand should be removed from the battery pack.
  4. Charging button on charging stand. The charging stand has an on/off button (1).
  5. You need to press the charging buttonto charge. The LED power indicator (2) lights up for five seconds and then goes out. During charging, press the charging button to show the remaining power of the battery pack on the Charging indicator. The indicator light will go out after 5 seconds.
  6. Charging
  7. The LED power indicator shows the remaining power of the battery pack as follows: Press the button, the indicator shows different status according to the battery pack’s power. When the button is released, the indicator light will be on for 5 seconds.

Note: If the power is less than 10%, the charging stand will stop discharging. This means that the battery pack needs to be charged.

Note: In order to prolong the service life of the charging stand, please do not insert a cell phone whose charging current exceeds the current shown in the label on the charging stand. When charging a cell phone, insert a USB plug into one of the charging ports.

MAINTENANCE

There are no repairable parts in your charging stand. For adjustment, repair or maintenance, please leave it to the professional. Do not try to repair the charging stand yourself. Your tool requires no additional lubrication or maintenance. Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Always store your tool in a dry place.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Waste electrical products must not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authorities or retailer for recycling advice.
