Product Information – SALTIX 10

SALTIX 10 is a commercial vacuum cleaner manufactured byNilfisk-Advance, Inc. It comes with a thermal cut-out feature that protects the motor and other vital parts from overheating. The machine is equipped with a dustbag and filters that should be in place before use. The vacuum cleaner comes with a cord that can bewind up starting from the machine. The machine is not intended for use with flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where they may be present. The machine is not designed to pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.

Product Usage Instructions

Before using the SALTIX 10 vacuum cleaner, ensure that the voltage shown on the rating plate on the vacuum cleaner corresponds with the main voltage. Please follow the below instructions to use the product safely:

  1. Read all instructions before using the product.
  2. Do not unplug the machine by pulling on the cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
  3. Do not handle the plug, cord or appliance with wet hands.
  4. Do not put any objects into openings. Do not use any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
  5. Keep loose clothing, hair, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
  6. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
  7. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
  8. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where they may be present.
  9. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  10. Do not use without a dustbag and filters in place.
  11. If the machine cuts out due to overheating, wait for at least 45 minutes for it to automatically reset. While waiting, switch off the machine and unplug it, then check the hose, dust bag and filters to be sure that nothing is blocking the flow of air through the machine.

SERVICING OF DOUBLE INSULATED APPLIANCES

A double-insulated appliance is marked with one or more of the following: the words “DOUBLE INSULATION” or “DOUBLE INSULATED” or the double insulation symbol (square within a square). In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance must be identical to the parts they replace.

MAINTENANCE

Always keep the cleaner in a dry place. The cleaner is designed for continuous work. Depending on the number of running hours – the dust filters should be renewed. A dust bag must be fitted in the machine if the vacuum cleaner’s sack filter is vacuumed. Keep the container clean with a dry cloth, and a small amount of spray polish. For after-sales service, contact your selling dealer. The size and quality of the dust bag and fi lters affect the machine’s efficiency. Use of nonoriginal dust bags or nonoriginal filters can cause restricted airflow which may lead to machine overload. Using non-original dust bags or filters will void the warranty.

USE ORIGINAL ADVANCE NOZZLES ONLY. USE OF NON-ADVANCE NOZZLES WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY.
