Position the back wheel of the bicycle facing the Bike Nook™
-
Roll the back wheel of the bicycle over the Ramp onto the Track until the wheel engages with the Upright.
-
This is the horizontal storage position
-
To store the bicycle in the vertical position, lift the front wheel upwards
-
Lower the seat holder onto the “V” of the Adjustment Upright.
Important: Ensure that the bicycle rests securely into the V-Slot and is stable. If not, return the bicycle to the horizontal position and lower (or raise) the Adjustment Upright -
Use the Strap to secure the front wheel in place
-
When storing the bicycle in the vertical position, ensure that the V-Slot is at a height so that the weight (and centre of gravity) of the bicycle “leans” towards the Upright – not towards the Ramp

FAQs
How important is a bike stand?****
A excellent bicycle repair stand will help you save time and effort while also reducing your stress levels. Lifting, adjusting, shifting, holding, and fixing your bike all at once is really exhausting. You can even turn out to be ineffective. There are portable repair stands for bicycles.
How do I choose a bike stand?****
A stand that can be adjusted, is simple to swivel, and can lock down rigidly when necessary is great because it can be annoying when you’re trying to do something precise and the entire bike tilts away. Consider how simple and seamless the tilting feature is to activate because this is frequently a flaw on some stands.
Is it okay to leave a bike in a bike stand?****
Not a problem, no. Instead of static force, regular cycles of loading and unloading are what cause the stress on non-moving components.
Is it better to cycle standing?****
Standing in the saddle is more efficient than sitting for producing high pedal forces, claims a study published in the journal Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise.
How far apart should cycle stands be?****
Stands should be placed a clear 1000mm apart in order to allow two bicycles comfortably. To guarantee that there is enough room for bikes and their owners to mount, dismount, and secure their bike without interference, multiple cycle stands shall correspond to the following setting out specifications.
How are bike stands measured?****
This represents the distance between the top tube and the ground (assuming a certain tyre size which is listed.) Because it is where you typically end up when you stand over your frame, this measurement is made at the midpoint of the top tube halfway between the seat tube and the head tube.
Can I store my bike on the floor?****
No. The Bike Nook™ bicycle stand is not designed to be used on the floor. It is designed to be mounted on a wall or ceiling.
Will the Bike Nook™ bicycle stand fit any bike?****
Yes. The Bike Nook™ bicycle stand is adjustable and will fit any size or type of bike, including children’s bikes and BMX bikes.
How do I adjust the Bike Nook™ bicycle stand?****
To adjust the Bike Nook™ bicycle stand, loosen the adjustment knob and slide the upright up or down to the desired height. Then tighten the adjustment knob.
How do I mount my Bike Nook™ bicycle stand?****
Mounting your Bike Nook™ bicycle stand is easy! First, choose a location for your Bike Nook™ bicycle stand. Then, measure from the ceiling to determine how high you need to mount your Bike Nook™ bicycle stand. Next, find a stud in the ceiling if you are mounting it in drywall and mark that spot with a pencil or pen. If you are mounting it in wood, mark where you will need to drill holes for screws. Once you have marked where you will need to mount your Bike Nook™ bicycle stand, remove it from its packaging and follow these steps: 1) Place an L-piece against a cross bar; 2) Place a foot against each L-piece; 3) Place a track over each foot; 4) Place an upright over each track; 5) Slide an adjustable upright onto each upright; 6) Slide a diamond bracket onto each adjustable upright; 7) Slide an adjustable Upright onto each diamond bracket; 8) Tighten all of the bolts using a socket wrench and an Allen key (see page 7). 9) Adjust your Uprights so that they are level with one another (see page 8). 10) Adjust your V-slots so that they are level with one another (see page 9). 11) Tighten all of the bolts using a socket wrench and an Allen key (see page 10). 12) Congratulations! You have successfully mounted your Bike Nook™ bicycle stand!
Do I need any tools to mount my Bike Nook™ bicycle stand?****
Yes. You will need a socket wrench and an Allen key (included with purchase).
What if I don’t have access to a stud in my ceiling?****
If you can’t find a stud in your ceiling, then you can use drywall anchors instead of screwing into wood studs.
What if I don’t have access to wood studs?
If you don’t have access to wood studs then we recommend using drywall anchors instead of screwing into drywall directly.
