Continuing with the tradition, we now present the KENT Digital Air Fryer that allows you to prepare your favourite crispy snacks, fried dishes in a healthy, fast and easy way.
  • The KENT Digital Air Fryer uses rapid hot air technology that works by quickly circulating hot air around a grill top. The best part about the KENT Digital Air Fryer is that it heats food from all sides at once and there is no need to add oil to most of the ingredients, you can now make dishes like samosas, tikkis, cakes and cook food that crumbles in a more convenient way.

USING KENT DIGITAL AIR FRYER

Before first use

Remove all packaging materials.

  • Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
  • Thoroughly clean the inner tray and frying pot with hot water, some washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive sponge.
  • Wipe inside and outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.

Note

  • This is an oil-free fryer that works on hot air. Do not fill the frying pot with oil or frying fat directly.
  • When your air fryer is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odour. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of your appliance.

Preparing For Use

  • Place the appliance on a stable and flat surface.
  • Do not place the appliance on a non-heat-resistant surface.
  • Place the inner tray in the frying pot [Fig.1].
  • Do not fill the frying pot with oil or any other liquid.
  • Do not put anything on top of the appliance, the airflow will be disrupted and affect the hot air  frying result.

OPERATION PANEL EXPLAINED

  • Power/Pause Button
    The Power/Pause button will start the cooking process. Pressing the Power/Pause button for 3 seconds to close the entire device during cooking.

  • Preset Button
    Selecting the Preset Button enables you to scroll through the 8 popular food choices.

  • Manually control button
    Selecting the manually control button enables you to set the cooking temperature and time by yourself. Default set temperature is 180°( and time is 15 min.

  • Temperature & Time switch Buttons
    Selecting the Temperature & Timer switch button to switch between temperature or timer adjustment.
    The “+”and .. _ .. symbols enable you to add or decrease cooking temperature and cooking time 1°C or 1 Min at a time. Keeping the button held down will rapidly change the temperature or time. Temperature Control range: 80°C-200°C. Time control range:1-60 Mins.

HOW TO OPERATE

  1. Connect the mains plug into an earthed wall socket.

  2. Carefully pull the frying pot out of the Digital Air Fryer (Fig.3)

  3. Put the ingredients on an inner tray in the frying pot.

  4. Slide the frying pot back into the Digital Air Fryer (Fig 2)
    Never use the frying pot without the inner tray in it.
    Caution: Do not touch the frying pot during and some time after use, as it gets very hot. Only hold the frying pot by the handle.

  5. Determine the required preparation time for the ingredient

  6. Some ingredients require shaking halfway through the preparation time.

  7. When you hear the timer buzzer, the set preparation time has elapsed. Pull the pot out of the appliance.

  8. You can adjust temperature or time according to your taste during use. Your settings will be kept for about 60 mins after you pull the frying pot out of the body.

  9. Check if the ingredients are ready. If the ingredients are not ready yet, simply slide the frying pot back into the appliance and set the timer to a few extra minutes.

  10. Empty the frying pot into a bowl or onto a plate.

  11. When a batch of ingredients is ready, the Digital Air Fryer is instantly ready for preparing another batch.

TIPS

  1. Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger ingredients.

  2. A larger amount of ingredients only requires a slightly longer preparation time.

  3. Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through the preparation time optimises the end result and can help prevent unevenly fried ingredients.

  4. Add some oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result. Fry your ingredients in the Digital Air
    Fryer within a few minutes after you added the oil.

  5. Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages in the Digital Air Fryer. Snacks that can be prepared in an oven can also be prepared in the Digital Air Fryer

  6. The optimal amount for preparing crispy fries is 500 grams.

  7. Use pre-made dough to prepare filled snacks quickly and easily. Pre-made dough also requires a shorter preparation time than homemade dough.

  8. Place a baking tin or oven dish in the Digital air fryer basket if you want to bake a cake or quiche or if you want to fry fragile ingredients or filled ingredients

  9. You can also use the Digital Air Fryer to reheat ingredients. To reheat ingredients, set the temperature to 150°C for up to 10 minutes

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the appliance after every use.

  1. Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it.

  2. Remove the frying pot and clean it with the lukewarm water & soap. Use a cleaning brush, never use scouring pads to clean it.

  3. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth and non-abrasive sponge.

  4. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any liquid.

  5. Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove any food residues.
    Never put any part of the appliance in the dishwasher.

  6. After cleaning it thoroughly, dry it using a soft cloth.

  7. Ensure that the appliance is completely dry before storing.

STORAGE

  1. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down.
  2. Make sure all parts are clean and dry.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

  1. Unplug, when not in use and before servicing.
  2. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance
  3. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use near or on wet surfaces.
  4. Use the appliance only as described in the manual.
  5. Always put the ingredients to be fried in the pan, to prevent it from coming into contact with the heating elements.
  6. Do not cover the air inlet and the air outlet while the appliance is working.
  7. Do not fill the frying pot with oil as this may cause a fire hazard.
  8. Do not use the appliance if the cord plug is damaged or worn out, replace the damaged cord or plug immediately.
  9. Do not try to service the appliance on your own. Send it to the authorised service centre only.
  10. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
  11. Do not unplug the appliance by pulling the cord, always unplug by pulling the plug and not by the cord.
  12. To avoid electric shocks, do not use the appliance with wet hands.
  13. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from moving parts.
  14. Turn all controls off before unplugging.
  15. This appliance is suitable for indoor use only
  16. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision. Children shall not play with the appliance.

CAUTION

  • Do not place the appliance against a wall or against other appliances. Leave at least 10 cm free space on the back and sides and 10cm free space above the appliance.
  • During hot air frying, hot steam is released through the air outlet openings. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings.
  • Also be careful of hot steam and air when you remove the frying pot from the appliance. Immediately unplug the appliance if you see dark smoke coming out of the appliance. Wait for the smoke emission to stop before you remove the frying pot from the appliance.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Ensure the appliance is placed on a horizontal, even and stable surface.
  • This appliance is designed for household use only. It may not be suitable to be safely used in environments such as staff kitchens, farms, motels, and other non-residential environments. Nor is it intended to be used by clients in hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and other residential environments.
  • If the appliance is used improperly or for professional or semi-professional purposes or if it is not used improperly or for professional or semi-professional purposes or it is not used according to the instructions in the user manual, the guarantee becomes invalid and we could refuse any liability for damage caused.
  • Always unplug the appliance while not using it.
  • The appliance needs approximately 30 minutes to cool down for handling or cleaning safely.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

KENT warrants all new products manufactured by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage and service from the date of purchase as under:

  1. The Warranty period commences from the date of purchase by the first end-user. During this Warranty period of one year, KENT or its Authorised Service Provider (ASP) will replace or repair any part of KENT Digital Air Fryer, that in the opinion of KENT or its ASP, would be defective in operation due to faulty material or workmanship (i.e. manufacturing defects) with the exception of consumables.
  2. The product’s plastic body is not covered under Warranty and hence, it must be handled with care to guard against breakage.
  3. The original purchaser of the unit can avail services under Warranty at the point of sale by producing the damaged partlsl along with the original invoice.
  4. This Warranty is void if the unit is not operated under normal conditions or according to the instructions given in the manual.
  5. Product returned to KENT or its ASP for Warranty examination must be shipped freight prepaid.
  6.  KENT or its ASP shall not be held liable for claims exceeding the cost of repair of the defects in workmanship.
  7. This Warranty Agreement shall not be interpreted to render KENT or its ASP liable for injuries or damages of any kind direct, consequential or contingent to persons or property.
  8. KENT or its ASP shall not be held responsible by representative or buyer for failure to abide by any of the obligations of this Warranty Agreement, if such failures are the result of circumstances of Forces Majeure such as (but not limited to), floods, earthquakes, transportation strikes, labour disputes with outside suppliers or any other conditions beyond the control of KENT or its ASP.
  9. KENT or its ASP shall not be held liable for repair or alterations made without prior written approval for product failures resulting from the lack of proper maintenance.
  10. This Warranty Agreement excludes all products/component parts or damage to any part of this KENT Digital Air Fryer which in the opinion of KENT or its ASP have been subjected to misuse; misapplication; negligence; alteration; accident or operation contrary to our instructions, incompatibility with accessories not installed by KENT or its ASP, or that have been repaired with component parts other than those manufactured by or obtained from KENT or its ASP. Damage caused by freezing, flood, fire or Act of God is not covered by this Warranty. In all such cases, regular charges will apply. This limited Warranty does not include service to diagnose a claimed malfunction in this unit.
  11. KENT reserves the right to alter or improve design and specifications at any time, without any contingent obligations to prospective buyers or owners of the products previously sold.
  12. Any disagreements and obligations based upon the purchase of KENT products and thereby imposed on KENT or its ASP shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of INDIA and subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts only.
  13. KENT or its ASP assumes No Warranty liability in connection with this KENT Digital Air Fryer other than that specified herein. This Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. KENT or its ASP does not authorise any person or representative to assume for them any other obligations on the sale of this KENT Digital Air Fryer.
  14. Under no circumstances, the liability of KENT or its ASP shall exceed the value of the product.
  15. Under no circumstances are the terms mentioned above negotiable and no employee of KENT or its ASP has the authority to supersede them
