ITEMS IN THE BOX

USING KENT HAND BLENDER – 200W

1. Remove any sticker that might prevent operating the unit.
2. Check the unit for damages. Do not use it in case of any damage.
3. Before switching on the appliance, make sure that your home’s mains voltage corresponds to the unit’s operating voltage.
4. Clean the parts of the KENT Hand Blender – 200 W before using the appliance for the first time (see ‘Cleaning & Maintenance section).
5. Make sure all the parts are completely dry before you start using the appliance.

HOW TO OPERATE

1. Fit the Beaters or Dough Hooks into the sockets.
2. Plug in the appliance.
3. Hold the KENT Hand Blender handle. Lower the beaters or hooks into the ingredients.
4. Switch on and select the desired speed to mix the ingredients in the bowl.
5. When you have finished mixing, stop the blender by pushing the Speed button to “0” at once.
6. Wait until the beaters or hooks attached, have stopped rotating then pull out the hand blender from the food item.
7. Switch off the mains before you eject or change the beaters/hooks. Once ejected you can clean the beaters/hooks with water, dry them with a soft cloth, and store them together with the main body.

MIXING GUIDE

Note: Use hooks if you are mixing thick sticky flour. Use beaters if you are beating eggs.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

• Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it
• Eject the Beaters or Dough Hooks and clean them with a solution of lukewarm water & soap
• Wipe the main unit with a moist cloth and non-abrasive liquid cleaner
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid
• Never put any part of the appliance in the dishwasher
• After cleaning it thoroughly, dry it using a soft cloth
• Ensure that the appliance is completely dry before storing it

Note: Never immerse the motor unit of the blender in water, or rinse it under the tap. Wipe it with a dry cloth.

PRECAUTIONS

• Do not disassemble, repair or alter the appliance on your own.
  It may cause appliance failure or breakdown

• The input voltage must not exceed the rating; it might damage the appliance

• Unplug before cleaning/moving the appliance

• Do not use the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug

• If the power cord is damaged, replace it with a genuine KENT spare

• Do not install or operate the appliance near any heat source, e.g., heater

• If the appliance is not in use for a longer time, unplug it

• Do not sit on, stand on or shake the appliance

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be taken, including the following:

1. Unplug, when not in use and before servicing.
2. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use it near or on wet surfaces.
3. Use the appliance only as described in the manual.
4. Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged or worn out. Replace the damaged cord or plug immediately.
5. Do not try to service the appliance on your own. Send it to an authorized service center only.
6. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Do not unplug the appliance by pulling the cord. Always unplug by pulling the plug and not the cord.
8. To avoid electric shocks, do not use the appliance with wet hands.
9. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from moving parts.
10. Turn all controls off before unplugging.
11. This appliance is suitable for indoor use only.
12. Keep away from children.
13. The appliance is not designed to be used by people who are physically or mentally disabled or lack relevant experience and knowledge unless a person responsible for their safety uses the product for supervision or guidance.

TROUBLESHOOTING
