Step 1: Download Firmware File

Download the firmware file (PRV36_US_2UA-101786-240814-0903.bin)
from Cyber Power’s website: Firmware
Download Link.

Note: Before proceeding, ensure connected
equipment can be turned off as the update requires powering down
the UPS for a few minutes.

Step 2: Verify RMCARD205 Firmware

Check that the RMCARD205 has a firmware version of v1.14 or
higher to support the UPS firmware upgrade function. Update the
RMCARD205 firmware if necessary.

Step 3: Shutdown UPS

Select ‘Turn UPS off’ radial button for instant shutdown on the
UPS Master Switch page and follow the on-screen instructions to
initiate UPS shutdown procedure.

Step 4: Begin Firmware Update

Click on the ‘Update’ icon on the UPS Information page to start
the firmware update process.

Step 5: Complete Update

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update
process. Once the update is applied, your UPS will automatically
turn on and display the login prompt.

Login and confirm the firmware version has changed to 1.1786
under the UPS tab and Information section.
