1. Bottom Bracket Diameter Measurement:

To check if your bike has a standard ~35 mm diameter bottom
bracket, follow these steps:

  1. Cut along the red dotted line on the provided template.
  2. Hold up the cutout against your bike’s bottom bracket to
    compare sizes.

2. Bottom Bracket Shell Thickness Measurement:

To measure the thickness of your bike’s bottom bracket
shell:

  1. Use the same cutout from Step 1.

  2. Align the green and red gauge with the diameter of your bike’s
    bottom bracket.

  3. Confirm that the thickness falls within the green area of the
    gauge.

3. Bottom Bracket Size/Width Measurement:

For measuring the width of your bike’s bottom bracket:

  1. Cut out the bottom bracket measuring tool along the red dotted
    lines.

  2. Flip your bike over to access the bottom bracket area.

  3. Align the black line on the tool with the edge of your bike’s
    bottom bracket.

  4. Exclude any parts of the bottom bracket assembly and measure
    only the frame width at the bottom bracket.

  5. Use the measuring tool to accurately determine the width of
    your bike’s bottom bracket.

1. Bottom Bracket Diameter To check if your bike has a standard ~35 mm diameter bottom bracket, simply cut along the red dotted lines and hold up the cutout against your bike’s bottom bracket.

2. Bottom Bracket Shell Thickness
Using the same cutout from Step 1, use the green and red gauge to confirm that your bike’s frame has a bottom bracket that is 12 mm or less in thickness. When you hold up the circle in line with the diameter of your bike’s bottom bracket, confirm the thickness of your bottom bracket falls within the green area of the gauge.
3. Bottom Bracket Size/ Width
Cut out the bottom bracket measuring tool along the red dotted lines. Flip your bike over to easily access the bottom bracket area for measurement. Align the black line on the tool with the edge of your bike’s bottom bracket. Remember to exclude any parts of the bottom bracket assembly. Measure only the width of your bike’s actual frame at the bottom bracket using the measuring tool. Use the measuring tool to determine the width of your bike’s bottom bracket accurately.
