Safe box Model: MHS-1003
Before using this product, please read this manual to ensure that you gain the maximum benefit from it.
INSTRUCTIONS
Please do not keep emergency keys in your safe!
Dear valued customer:
Thank you for choosing our products! You’ve taken an important step in
organizing and protecting your most valued possessions. Every series of our
safes is professionally made and designed to provide safety.
Please take time to read and familiarize yourself with the proper operating
procedures of your new safe presented on the following pages.

Convenient motorized locking system, incorporating the latest technology. Easy
to read, large LED display let’s you know the status of the safe.
Open by 3-6 digital code or emergency key, two override keys included.
POWER SUPPLY
The working voltage for the product is equal to 4 AA batteries.
If the display reads “BA-T”, it means the voltage are low and must be replaced
as soon as possible.
System will turn into micro power consuming state automatically.
Caution:
When replacing batteries, do replace all the batteries at once and never use
old and fresh batteries together. Never mix the specified batteries with other
type of batteries in use.
USING PERSONAL CODE TO CLOSE & OPEN THE SAFE
Enter any 4 to 6 digit number then press the “#” key, the word “-CLOSE-”
appears and the safe will be closed.
Enter your 4 to 6 digit number then the word “-OPEN-” appears and the safe
will be opened automatically, finally display showed “OPENED”, which means
safe open successfully.
SETTING THE PERSONAL CODE
In the state of open door, you can change any personal code (4-6 digit numbers) and close the door.
USING MASTER CODE TO OPEN THE SAFE
Enter your 6 digital master code, then the word “-OPEN-” appears and the safe
will open automatically.
(Note: The safe comes with 2 codes, personal code for hotel customer use and
master code for hotel manager use)
SETTING THE MASTER CODE
- Keep the door open, press “*” twice and “PROG” appears.
- Input the original master code (factory master code is 011223) and “NEW” appears.
- Input the new master code (6 digit numbers) you prefer within 5 seconds and “AGAIN” appears.
- Input the new master code again within 5 seconds and “DONE” appears, which means the master code again has been changed successfully.
- If “ERROR” appears, it means new master code setting failed.
DO NOT SET new code and / or function code any of 751019 or 123456 to avoid confusion with the program and security.
OPENING THE SAFE IN EMERGENCY
Once the electronic circuit malfunctioned or codes unknown. You could also use the override key to open the safe.
SECURITY FUNCTION
Hide the Code
Press “”, code hiding function will be activated, all the number input within
5 seconds will be not showed, only show “-”. If there is no number / code
input within 5 seconds or after one time input finished, the hiding function
will be de-activated automatically. If you want to re-start this function,
press “” directly. Keep in mind to remember the password because it is not
visible during hidden code function (screen only shows ‘’-‘’).
AUTOMATIC LOCK
After five consecutive times of error codes, the system will be locked out automatically. During that time, the display will display “HOLD15” every press. 15 minutes later, the system will start again, allowing button entry.
NOTICE ABOUT RECYCLING
Your product is designed and manufactured with high quality materials and
components which can be recycled and reused.
This symbol means that electrical and electronic equipment, at their end-of-
life, should be disposed of separately from your household waste. Please
dispose of this equipment at your local community waste collection/ recycling
centre.
In the European Union there are separate collection systems for used
electrical and electronic products. Please help us to conserve the environment
we live in!
