Product Usage Instructions

    to 12 inches from the restorations over dried and unfired
    stains.

Instructions for Use

ENGLISH

1. Product Description
Prismatik Universal Low Fusing Ceramic Fluorescent Spray Glaze for BruxZir® Solid Zirconia and Obsidian® Lithium Silicate Ceramic allows the dental professional to stain and glaze in one firing. Multiple units can be glazed in seconds for increased production efficiency and reduced labor costs. The product maintains restoration characterization and staining details and doesn’t puddle at margins. Contents: Ceramic Porcelain Powders, Isopropyl Alcohol, and Propellant. Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) (523 – 537°C) = (9.5 – 10.5) x 10-6/°C
2. Indications for Use
This device is to be used for applying glaze on low-fusing porcelain fused to metal restorations and pressed/milled ceramic restorations.
3. Contraindications
Do not use this product for purposes other than its intended use or in a manner different from the instructions stated in the document.
4. Instructions
1. Shake well until mixing ball moves freely inside. 2. Prepare restoration/s as customary for staining and glazing. Use glaze on low-fusing porcelain fused
to metal restorations and pressed/milled ceramic restorations. 3. Spray glaze approximately 10 to 12 inches from restoration/s over dried and unfired stains. For
optimum performance use short bursts while shaking/agitating can between sprays and buccal, lingual, mesial, distal and occlusal surfaces. 4. Spray multiple units simultaneously when placed on ceramic pillow tray. Be sure to shake can often when spraying multiple units. 5. Minor add-on repairs may be applied before spraying glaze on dental restoration/s. It will not discolor add-on. 6. Firing Schedule For BruxZir Solid Zirconia: Pre-Dry: 1 minute Start Temp: 950ºF (510ºC) Firing Rate: 100ºF (38ºC) High Temp: 1346°F – 1562°F (730°C – 850°C) Vacuum: None Hold Time: 1 minute For Obsidian Lithium Silicate Ceramic: Please use information from the user manuals for your product, available at: www.ObisidianCeramics.com/resources. 7. If glaze should settle on the underside or on metal surfaces of restoration/s, once the glaze dries, dust with a small short-bristled brush. 8. For optimal product performance you should turn can upside down and depress spray button between applications. This will clear the valve of any trapped or unused glaze that might cause a propellant leak from can.
