Product Information: JEGR1913 Double Flat Plate Grill
The JEGR1913 Double Flat Plate Grill is a high-performance electric grill that features two smooth grilling plates for cooking a variety of foods. The grill has a temperature selector with an on-pilot light and a ready pilot light to indicate when the grill is heating up and ready to use. The juice/sauce collector tray collects excess juices and drippings for easy cleaning, and the opening button allows for easy access to the plates for cleaning or storage. This grill operates on 220-240V~ 50/60 Hz and has a power output of 2,000 W.

Product Usage Instructions
- Place the grill on a stable, flat surface near an electrical outlet.
- Plug in the grill and turn on the power.
- Select the desired temperature using the temperature selector.
- Wait for the on-pilot light to turn off, indicating that the grill is heating up.
- Once the ready pilot light turns on, the grill is ready to use.
- Place your food on the grilling plates and close the lid.
- Cook your food for the desired amount of time, flipping halfway through if necessary.
- Use the juice/sauce collector tray to collect excess juices and drippings.
- When finished cooking, turn off the grill and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
- Allow the grill to cool before cleaning.
- Open the grill using the opening button and wipe down the grilling plates with a damp cloth or sponge.
- Empty and clean the juice/sauce collector tray.
- Close the grill and store in a cool, dry place.

ATTENTION
- Carefully read these instructions before using your appliance for the first time and keep it for future enquires.
- This appliance can be used by children at the age of 8 or more and people with physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given an appropriate supervision or instruction concerning the safety use of the appliances and understand the dangers involved.
- Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the reach of children. They are potentially dangerous.
- Do not connect to the mains without checking that the voltage on the rating plate and that of your household are the same.
- Make sure the plug has an adequate earth base.
- The exterior parts of the appliance may reach high temperatures when the appliance is on. Use always the handle and avoid touching them until some time has passed.
ATTENTION: Hot surface.
- Do not leave unattended while in use.
- Take care the cable does not touch any hot parts.
- Don’t allow children play with the appliance. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
- Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.

- The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done by children without any supervision, unless they are over 8 years and they are under supervision.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by its after-sales service or similar qualified personnel in order to avoid any danger.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
- Before using for the first time, clean the plates with a damp cloth. Next, dry them carefully and spread a little oil with a cloth or kitchen roll.
- Before each use pour some oil on the plates.
- Place the appliance on a flat and heat resistance surface.
- The tray (5) must be in place, otherwise, the juices and fat resulting from the cooking will spill onto the surface.
- You can use the grill totally open. To open it, keep pressed the opening button (6) and turn it so it remains totally horizontal (Fig. B). While doing this, try that the upper plate outlet is over the fat-collector tray so in order to avoid juices or fats spilling on the table.
- Plug the appliance to the mains. The pilot light “Encendido” (3) will go on.
- By turning the temperature selector (2) clockwise, choose the desired temperature. After a few minutes the pilot light “Preparado” (4) will switch on, indicating that the plates have reached the adequate temperature.
- Lift up the upper plate using the handle (1) and place the food over the lower plate. Close again the plate.
- If the grill is open in horizontal position place the food directly on the plates.
- Always use wooden utensils to move or turn the food over. The use of forks or other metal utensils may scratch the surface.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Before you proceed to cleaning, make sure the appliance is unplugged from the mains.
- Do not wait for the plates to cool completely to clean them. It is easier to clean when the plates are warm. It is enough to use a dampened cloth and if there were some difficult residues it may be cleaned with a little oil.
- Do not use abrasive or chemical products, metallic scourers, and such may deteriorate the protection.
- The tray (5) may be cleaned with water and detergent suitable for the dishwasher.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
- Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
- Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the environment.
