Product Usage Instructions:

Powering the Radio:

To power the radio, follow these steps:

  1. Loosen and pull down the battery cover.

  2. Insert batteries ensuring correct positioning as per the
    diagram.

  3. If using non-rechargeable batteries, switch Charger/Batteries
    to Batteries position. For rechargeable batteries, switch to
    Charger position.

  4. If not using the radio for an extended period, remove the
    battery to prevent power issues.

AC Operation:

Before plugging the AC power cord into the socket:

  • Ensure correct voltage.
  • If batteries are inserted, connecting the AC power cord will
    automatically disconnect them.

AC power cord storage is available for cord management when the
radio is not in use.

Charging the Batteries:

To charge rechargeable batteries:

  1. Ensure the radio is off.

  2. Connect the AC power cord and set the battery type switch to
    Charge.

  3. Charging time is approximately 4-5 hours based on battery
    capacity.

Manual Tuning:

To manually tune the radio:

  1. Press Power button to turn on the radio.
  2. Select waveband by pressing Band button.
  3. Screw in the rubber FM antenna properly for optimal

Power the radio

Before you insert the batteries, if you use non-rechargeable batteries, make sure the Charger/Batteries switch which located inside the battery compartment is switched to Batteries position. 3. AC Operation Before plug the AC power cord into the AC socket, be sure the voltage is correct. If you have batteries in the radio and connect the AC power cord into the AC socket, the batteries will automatically be disconnected.

Charge the batteries
Reduced power, distortion and a ” stuttering sound ” or low battery need recharged if you use rechargeable batteries to power the radio.
The radio can be charged only when the radio is off. Connect the AC power cord into the AC socket to charge the batteries, be sure the battery type switch is set to Charge position.
Charging time takes approx. 4-5 hours depending on capacity of the rechargeable batteries in use.
Manual Tuning
1. Press the Power button to turn on the radio. 2. Select the required waveband by pressing the Band button. 3. Be sure to screw in the rubber FM antenna properly to get best

Memory presets stations
Storing stations in preset memories, please follow below step. There are 5 memory presets for each waveband.
1. Press the Power button to turn on the radio.

2. Tune to required station pressing Band button and Tuning Control.
3. Press and hold down the required preset until the radio beeps. The preset number will appear in the display and the station will be stored under chosen preset button.
4. Repeat this procedure for the remaining presets.
5. Stations stored in preset memories can be over written by following above procedures.
Recall stations from preset memories
1. Press the Power button to turn on the radio.
2. Select the required waveband.
3. Momentarily press the required Preset button, the preset number and station frequency will appear in the display.
Display backlight
When radio is switched on, press any button except Power button will illuminate the LCD display for approx. 15 seconds.

Tuning step in some countries are different from where you purchase the radio. If you buy the radio in Europe and intend to use in to adjust tuning step so the radio may continue to serve you well.

Clear the preset stations
