FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

Is the added / secondary speaker really worth the extra $100 – $150 over the original model?

Great sound by itself..better with the secondary speaker. I got both for 50 bucks more…..it was well worth that…..fyi..great remote. At 203 bucks its worth it.

Do I need to connect the second speaker to the main unit with cable or do the two entities communicate via Bluetooth / wifi as well?

The second speaker must be connected via wire. A six foot cable was included with mine. I forget which connector it uses, but was not proprietary. It will work in mono without second speaker.

Is there a usb charging port? I want a clock radio that has bluetooth, am/fm, a clock display, usb charging for two devices (fast charge a plus).

No, this radio does not have a USB charging port

Does bluetooth transmit or just receive? i have a nice marshall bluetooth speaker and i’m looking for a radio to play on it.

Answer: Bluetooth on the radio is designed as an input source not output. The radio does have a headphone jack and adaptors are available ( haven’t tried any ) that allow you to connect a wireless speaker or headphones

what are the dimensions of these units?

Each unit is 5″ wide 8″ high 7″ depth

Can the “alarm timer” be set to go off at specific time of day or is it set to a specific number of hours?

It has settings for “once”, weekdays, and weekends. There are two alarms that can be set at different times.

How to set the station for rdbs? manual is not clear.

You can’t really set it for RDS, either the station broadcasts RDS information or it doesn’t. If you have the radio set to an FM station and your default setting is the time of day, press the info button on the remote 4 times and it will scroll RDS info (between station, song, group performing etc.). Any time you press the info button you’ll display different info however it will return to time based on your default settings. The tower in our area that pings RDS data has been down for several days now and continues to display old info. Hope this helps. Good day

Are slave speakers sold separately?

Yes…sold separately…great radio…works awesome

can i stream music from my iPhone onto this? if yes, what is the setup required?

Super easy, your iPhone will find the stereo with Bluetooth enabled.

Does this come with an ac adapter? the batteries seem required. is this for portability or keeping for the time in case of a power outage, or…?

The adapter comes with it. The batteries are for the included full-function remote control.
