Download the Roar Pedal App: Before starting the installation, download the Roar Pedal app to your mobile device.

Pre-installation Steps
Turn off the car and open the driver’s door. Wait for 15-30 minutes before proceeding. Note: If you unplug the accelerator plug too soon, the “check engine” light may turn on as the ECU still has power and detects the sensor as defective. -
Installation Steps

Locate the position of the accelerator pedal as shown in the figure below:

Unplug the original sensor harness from the accelerator pedal as shown below: (Note that most of them are locked. Press down the lock clip on the female port and easily pull it out)

Connect the female port of the Roar Pedal wiring to the pedal port and connect the male port to the original sensor harness. (Pay attention to the installation direction and ensure it is installed correctly.) The installation is complete, as shown in the figure below:

Start the car. The LED light on the shell will turn on (it will automatically turn off after one minute), indicating that the installation is correct.

Turn on the Bluetooth function of your mobile phone and open the Roar Pedal app. The app will automatically recognize and connect to the device.

Use the provided double-sided adhesive tape or cable ties to securely fix Roar Pedal in a suitable position that does not affect the pedal stroke.
Common Installation Questions

LED cannot light up.
Ensure that both the male and female ports of the wiring harness are properly connected. Also, double-check that the plugs are not connected upside down. -
Bluetooth cannot be connected
If the LED light is on, it indicates that the installation is correct. If you are experiencing issues with Bluetooth connectivity, ensure that the Roar Pedal app has the necessary permissions, such as storage, location, and GPS. These permissions are required for the app to discover the device. Avoid manually selecting the device connection in the Bluetooth device list on your mobile phone, as the product is designed to automatically connect when powered on.
Note : If you do not need to switch modes, you can leave the Bluetooth function of your phone turned off and the app closed. The device will automatically save the selected mode. -
Dealing with Fault Codes.
If a fault code appears, it may be due to unplugging the sensor harness too quickly, causing the ECU to recognize a sensor disconnection. This is a minor issue that can be resolved. Once the wiring harness is installed correctly, the fault codes/lights will clear themselves or after driving a few kilometers. You can also follow these steps to clear fault codes/lights:
Start the car — Open the cab door — Close the cab door — Turn off, repeat this action 3-5 times to clear the codes.
Please avoid changing modes while your foot is on the accelerator pedal or when cruise control is engaged to prevent potential acceleration issues. Such sudden changes in the accelerator signal during driving may be detected by the ECU as a malfunction. Rest assured, our product is designed to be safe for your car, and it will not cause any damage. Once the product is disconnected, everything will return to default settings. Roar Pedal is engineered to protect all car components. If you encounter any fault codes after using the product for a period, it may be a compatibility issue.
However, our unique Learn Mode can easily resolve this:
- Uninstall the product and clear the error codes, reinstall it. Turn the car key to ACC to power, don’t start engine or step on the gas pedal, click “ok” in app, the screen displays 3 numbers. (To match the min signal)
- Press the accelerator pedal to the ground and hold, click “ok” in app, the screen displays 3 numbers. (To match the max signal), start the car and the problem will work normally.

Product Function

Race Mode, Sport+ Mode, Sport Mode, Eco Mode offer 1~9 sensitivity level, these 36 different parameters allow you to find the best feeling of acceleration.

Race mode:
The most extreme mode. Its high-performance response allows your vehicle to accelerate like a race car. -
Sport+ Mode:
This mode is favorite among spirited drivers who are looking to get-up-and-go. This mode allows you to accelerate a lot quicker than Eco and Sport Mode, which can help you in various situations. -
Sport Mode:
This mode is customer favorite, gives your vehicle the response of an “old school” throttle cable, with a 1×1 pedal-to-throttle ratio. This mode is popular among daily drivers as it gives your vehicle a nice increased response over your stock ratings. -
Normal mode:
The effect is to directly restore the control mode to the original one of your car. -
Eco Mode:
This mode allows you to maximize your fuel economy by up to 20% over the stock ratings. It also doubles as a valet mode to keep a driver (or even newly licensed teenager) from being able to accelerate above a certain rate.

Addition Functions
- Lock Mode:
Lock the throttle, the car will not move forward to guard against thieves.
- Click the “Lock” button and follow the prompt to enter a 3-digit password. Once set, the anti-theft mode will activate.
- To unlock, click the “Lock” button again and enter the correct password. The pop-up window will close upon successful entry. If the password is incorrect, re-enter the correct password.
- Note : The lock mode requires password setup each time it is used for enhanced security and convenience. Keep the password secure. Removing the product will cancel the anti-theft mode. This function provides a certain level of anti-theft protection.
- Learn Mode:
Achieve precise matching of the original car’s throttle data for optimal results. It is best to use the Learn Mode when installing this product for the first time.
- Turn the car key to ACC to power, but do not start the engine or press the gas pedal. Then click “OK” in the app, and the screen will display four numbers. (To match the minimum signal.)
- Press the accelerator pedal to the ground and hold it, then click “OK”. The screen will display four numbers. (To match the maximum signal.)
- Lock Mode:
Switch System :
Our product features a built-in dual-power driving system (R system and P system). The R system offers a more aggressive throttle response, while the P system provides a milder response. If you feel that the current effect is not satisfactory, you can switch between the power driving systems by clicking the button.
FAQs
Q: Does Bluetooth need to stay connected?
A : No, it is not necessary. Once you have selected a mode, the device
will automatically save your choice. You do not need to keep the Roar Pedal
app or Bluetooth open if you are not planning to switch modes. Furthermore,
our product does not occupy a spot in the list of Bluetooth devices on your
mobile phone. This means that your mobile phone can remain connected to other
Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
Q: Is Roar Pedal Throttle Response Controller safe?
A : Absolutely. Roar Pedal does not modify the vehicle’s circuit or ECU;
it is simply a signal controller that adjusts throttle sensitivity. It ensures
you can access the performance intended by the manufacturer without
compromising your vehicle’s safety measures.
Q: Will Roar Pedal void the vehicle’s warranty?
A : Roar Pedal is 100% untraceable by dealerships as it does not leave
any “flags” on your ECU. However, we recommend turning off the unit and
removing it before any repair or service visits to be on the safe side.
Dealerships may scrutinize such modifications during diagnostics to avoid
warranty payouts.
Q: Do I need to reset the function mode every time I use it?
A : No, this product features a mode memory function that automatically
saves your settings once the configuration is completed. Unless changed in the
setting mode, your selected mode will be preserved.
Q: Will using Roar Pedal increase fuel consumption?
A : The fuel consumption in Sport Mode remains largely unchanged, while
in Sport+ Mode, it may increase by approximately 5%-10%. Eco Mode, on the
other hand, can result in fuel savings of about 5%-20%.
Q: How does long-term use affect the engine?
A : Roar Pedal does not modify your car; it optimizes the signal
parameters within the car’s existing system. Controlled by the car computer,
it has no adverse effects on the engine with long-term use. In fact, it can
help reduce carbon deposits and enhance engine responsiveness.
Q: Can I turn off or change modes at any time?
A : Yes, you have the flexibility to change the function mode and turn
off the mode whenever you desire.
