Product Usage Instructions

  1. Remove the Insulating Film
    Before using the flashlight, remove the insulating film as shown in Figure

  2. Turn On/Off the Flashlight
    To turn on the flashlight, press the tail switch firmly until you hear a click (Figure 2). To turn it off, press the tail switch again.

  3. Momentary On
    You can activate momentary on mode by lightly pressing the tail switch. Release the switch to turn off the light (Figure 3).

  4. Change Brightness Level (Method 1)
    While the light is turned on, press the tail switch firmly twice in a row to change the brightness level between high and low (Figure 4-1).

  5. Change Brightness Level (Method 2)
    While the light is turned off, press the tail switch slightly once and then press it firmly once to change the brightness level between high and low (Figure 4-2).

Set Initial Brightness Level (Method 1)
To set the initial brightness level, follow these steps

  1. Ensure the light is turned off.
  2. Press the tail switch slightly five times in a row with intervals no longer than 1 second.
  3. On the fifth press, hold down the tail switch. The current brightness will turn on for 1 second and then change to the desired brightness level (Figure 5-1).
  4. This indicates that the initial brightness has been set successfully.

7. Set Initial Brightness Level (Method 2)
To set the initial brightness level using method 2, follow these steps

  1. Ensure the light is turned off.
  2. Press the tail switch firmly nine times in a row.
  3. After the ninth press, the current brightness level will turn on for 1 second and then change to the desired brightness level (Figure 5-2).
  4. This indicates that the initial brightness has been set successfully.

8. Battery Installation
To install the battery, unscrew the tail cap. Insert a 1.5V AAA Alkaline battery, ensuring that the positive end of the new battery faces the flashlight head. Screw the tail cap back on (Figure 6).

Operating instructions as below

2.8 Battery Installation, see Figure 6.

Unscrew the tail cap to insert the battery, ensuring that the positive end of the new battery faces the flashlight head, and then screw the tail cap back on.

WARNING

  • Do not look directly at the light source or shine on the eyes, it may cause temporary blindness or permanent damage to the eyes.
  • Don’t leave the battery near the fire or a heated source, or throw the battery into the fire. • Do not give the product to children to play with, in order lo avoid accidental swallowing.
  • Don’t store, charge or use this light in a car where inside of temperature may be over 60°C, or similar places.

NOTICE

  • Do not disassemble the product.
  • It is normal that the light flickers when the battery is close to running out.
  • Don’t short circuit (+ ) and (-) terminals with metallic object intentionally.
  • For long-term storage, please remove the battery.
  • Do not immerse the flashlight in seawater or other corrosive media as it will damage the product.
  • Don’t use damaged, deformed battery, or with broken sleeve.

Olight is not liable for damages or injuries sustained resulting from the usage of the product inconsistent with the warnings in the manual.
