Thank you for purchasing an ESD Work Check. Please read this instruction manual in great detail before operating the device. Keep this manual readily accessible for later reference.
Description
This instrument is very simple to use and it is very effective for checking many working features of ESD workstations. All test instruments are manufactured to the highest quality allowing qualification to council directives 89/336/EEC. Each unit is supplied with a 1 year calibration certificate. Calibration is recommended on a regular basis (annually). The ESD Work Check is CE approved.

Operation
- Place the meter on the ESD work-surface and when the operator presses the button it will indicate that the following features are working to enable an ESD safe working area.
- This instrument with only ONE TEST will indicate the following:
- The ESD work surface is clean allowing good contact.
- The ESD work surface is grounded.
- The wrist-strap (or heel strap) is worn correctly and working correctly.
- The Earthing point is connected to ground.
- If there is a workstation problem, the RED light will illuminate and a buzzer will sound. This will indicate to the operator that there is a problem with the workstation and it should be checked by an engineer before work commences.
