Dear Customer, Thank You for purchasing a CENTEK brand product. We guarantee flawless function of this item, provided the guidelines of its operation are observed.
This appliance is designed for use in domestic and similar applications, in particular: ­ in personnel kitchen zones at stores, offices and industrial facilities; ­ at agricultural farms; ­ by clients at hotels, motels and other residential facilities; ­ in private boarding houses.
INTENDED PURPOSE: the appliance is designed for cooking meat, fish, vegetables and fruit in special plastic cooking bags (vacuum-sealed bags) at relatively low temperatures.
1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS The appliance You have purchased complies with all official safety standards applicable to electric appliance in the Russian Federation. Please strictly observe the following instructions to avoid situations potentially hazardous for human life and health, as well as damage and premature failure of the appliance: 1. Do not fill water above the «» mark on the stainless steel body of
the heating element. 2. If the appliance falls into water immediately disconnect it from power
supply and let it dry out completely before turning it on again. 3. Disconnect the appliance from power supply when it is not in use. Never
disconnect the appliance from power supply by pulling on the power cord.

Always grab the power plug. 4. Never touch the appliance or its power cord with wet hands. 5. Do not use extension cables. Always connect the appliance directly to the
nearest earthed AC power socket. 6. This appliance should not used by persons (including children) with
limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or with insufficient knowledge or experience, except under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety or when they have been informed of and instructed in the use of the appliance by such a person. Keep children under supervision so that they do not play with the appliance. 7. This appliance uses an earthed power cord; earthing is required for safe operation. Ensure that the power supply source is properly earthed. 8. Before operating the appliance please check the appliance and its power cord for mechanical damage. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged in any way. 9. Before connecting the appliance to an electric socket ensure that the socket provides the same power supply type and output capacity as required for the appliance. 10. The appliance has no user- maintainable components. Please do not try to open, maintain or modify the appliance. 11. The cooking container, stainless steel pump housing and the cooking bags with the food become hot during operation. Allow these to cool down completely before draining the water. 12. Do not subject the appliance to high temperature impact. Do not place the appliance inside or near heat sources, such as ovens, do not leave it in direct sunlight. 13. Use sealed zip-lock bags or vacuum sealed bags only for cooking. Do not use polyethylene foil.

14. The appliance requires a pot or other container with a depth of 11cm and a minimum capacity of 10 liters.
15. Use only the proper connector with the appliance. 16. Special transportation (shipment) and sale instructions: none. 17. Should you intend to transfer the appliance to another person, please
turn the present manual over together with it.

3. SCOPE OF SUPPLY ­ Submersible sous-vide cooker – 1 pc. ­ Retainer – 1 pc. ­ User Manual – 1 pc.
4. OPERATING PROCEDURE TEMPERATURE UNIT CHANGE Press and hold the ON/OFF button for approx. 3 seconds to switch between C0 and F0 temperature display units.

TEMPERATURE AND TIMER SETTING 1. Press the regulator knob on the control panel. The temperature indicator
will start blinking. Turn the knob clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the temperature. 2. Upon completion of the adjustment press the regulator knob once again to confirm the setting. The time indicator will start blinking. Turn the regulator to set the hours (00:), then press the regulator and turn it to set the minutes (:00). 3. The setting is completed.
5. USING THE APPLIANCE 1. Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from power supply. 2. Place the retainer at the side of the pot or container, then firmly secure
it in place. 3. Insert the appliance into the retainer. 4. Fill the pot with water. Check that the water level is between the «»
and «» marks on the heating element housing. Use warm water to speed up the heating. 5. Place the pot/container near an AC power socket. Ensure that it is not located on an oven or any other heat source. 6. Connect the appliance to the nearest AC power socket. 7. Set the required temperature. The indicator will start blinking. The temperature setting range is 20 to 90 . 8. Set the required time. The time setting range is from 1 minutes to 99 hours and 59 minutes. 9. The indicator will show the current water temperature. Heating will start. 10. When the set temperature is reached a triple audio signal will be emitted. 11. Put the vacuum bag into the container. It is recommended to cook 1 to 3 types of food simultaneously, depending on the volume of liquid. Do not

use an excessively large container (over 15 l), as the water may not heat up uniformly. The bag should be completely submerged in water during cooking. 12. The cooking time countdown will start. 13. When the cooking tome is over an audio signal will be emitted. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the appliance off. 14. Carefully take the cooking bag out of the water. Disconnect the appliance from power supply and pull it out of the retainer. Detach the retainer from the container and drain the water from it.
6. MAINTENANCE 1. As a safety measure the heating element cannot be dismantled without
tools. In case of any malfunction please contact a skilled technician. 2. In order to clean the heating element housing (5) turn the protective cap
(7) clockwise, then remove it and the housing. 3. Clean the housing and protective cap in a dishwasher or under a tap. 4. Use a mild detergent and a soft toothbrush to clean the heating element,
then rinse it under a tap. 5. Allow all parts to completely dry before reassembly.
NOTE: Make sure that water contacts with the metal parts only. Do not subject the appliance’s housing (3) to moisture.

7. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem

Solution

Appliance emits a whistling noise

This is caused by motor, impeller and cooling fan operation and is normal.

Appliance emits a bubbling, whistling/hissing noise

Ensure that the water level is between the «» and «» marks. Top up the water in the pot as necessary.

Appliance emits a rasping noise

The stainless steel heating element housing is loose. Turn the appliance off, let it cool down and tighten the housing. If the noise persists, the heating element may be bent. Remove the protective cap, then press on the heating element to align it.

9. DISPOSAL Upon expiry of its service life the appliance can be disposed of separately from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it over to a specialized electric and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centre.
10. CERTIFICATION DATA, GUARANTEE The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 month of manufacture).
