Product Usage Instructions
Single Inverter Export Limitation Installation
Follow these steps for installing the export limitation on a single
inverter:
- Take the two red pin terminals and place them onto the CT wire ends.
- Thread the CT cable through the COM connector, connecting the white/black wire(CT+) to Pin 5 and the black wire(CT-) to Pin 6.
- Connect the COM connector to the inverter, clamp the CT on the L wire of the main power cables, ensuring the arrow logo of the CT points towards the load and inverter.
Multiple Inverter Export Limitation Installation
For installing export limitation on multiple inverters:
- Set different addresses for each inverter as per the user manual.
- Connect the CT only to the inverter with Address 1 (Master).
- Connect all inverters through RS485 cables to ensure communication with the master inverter.
FAQ
-
Q: Where should the CT be installed?
A: The CT must be installed on the L wire of the main power cables before load and inverter(s). -
Q: How should the pin terminals be connected?
A: The white/black wire(CT+) should be connected to Pin 5, and the black wire(CT-) should be connected to Pin 6 of the COM connector. -
Q: How to ensure safe installation?
A: Disconnect both DC & AC connections before installing the CT to avoid any risk of electric shock.
System Diagrams
Warning: DISCONNECT both DC & AC connections before install the CT. Otherwise there will be risk of electric shock.
Notes:
- The CT must be installed on L wire of the main power cables before load and inverter(s).
- The arrow of the CT has to be pointing towards the load and the inverter(s).
- The CT has to be connected to Pin 5(CT+: White/Black or Red) and Pin 6(CT-: Black) on the COM connector of Inverter side.
- The Inverters have to be set to different addresses in FIG.2, and the CT only needs be connected to the inverter with Address 1(Master). Other inverters communicate with the Master via Pin 3(T/R+) and Pin 4(T/R-).

Installations
Installation of single inverter export limitation
- Take the two red pin terminals and placethem onto the CT wire ends as shown in the left picture below, and use pincer pliers to crimp the pin terminals.
- Thread the CT cable through the COM connector as shown in the left picture below, the white/black wire(CT+) is connected to Pin 5, and the black wire(CT-) is connected to Pin 6 of the connector. Then buckle the COM connector.
- The COM connector is connected to the inverter, the CT is clamped on theL wire of themain power cables before all of the loads and the inverter, and the internal arrow logo of the CT is targeted at the direction of the load and the inverter. At this point, the installation is completed.
Installation of mutiple inverter export limitation
- Set different addresses to the inverters, for example 1, 2, 3…n as per its user manual.
- The CT only needs to be connected to the inverter with Address 1(Master).
- All the inverters have to be connected through RS485 cables hand by hand to make sure they can communicate with the master inverter.
