kolegend 1331 Remote Control Excavator Toy

Thank you for purchasing the kolegend Construction Toys. Customer satisfaction is our aim. This manual contains the instructions you will need to operate and warranty your model so that you can enjoy it for years to come. However, please be advised that this model is a hobby-grade Construction Toy that will require maintenance and replacing parts. Rest assured that kolegend is a team of professionals who aim to provide the highest level of factory support possible.

Use Instructions

  1. Please charge the batteries via the provided USB charging cord when receive the toy.
  2. Unscrew and take off the panel on the bottom of the toy, put the rechargeable battery in, and ft the panel back. Put two 1.5V AA batteries ( not included) into the remote.
  3. Tum on the switch of the toy (at the bottom of the rear) and remote. They will pair automatically.

Frequency Pairing:

  • This product uses a 2.4GHz frequency remote control, before the play, should be on the remote control and the vehicle frequency should match;
  • The excavator and remote control after installing the battery power turned on
  • At this point the remote control will automatically find the frequency, light is blinking.
  • When the remote control light stops flashing.
  • Frequency matching is completed, and the remote control function can be used normally.

Battery Instructions

  1. Charging time: 2-3 hours. (Note: You need to activate the battery before first use, please charge it for 8 hours)
  2. When charging, the LED light will flash slowly, and will turn off after a full charge.
  3. Please use only the provided charging cord to charge the battery.

1550-70:

The status of the USB indicator light when charging:

  1. The LED light is always on when connected;
  2. The LED light flashes slowly when charging;
  3. The LED light is off when fully charged;
    • Charging time: 3-4 hours When the battery is fully charged, please unplug the USB charging cable in time.

INDICATOR LIGHT STATUS AT THE TIME OF CHARGING:

  • Uncharged state: red light always lit
  • Charged state: Red light always lit + Green light flashes
  • Full charging state: Red and green lights are always lit
  • Charging period: 4-5 hours When the battery is charged, please pull off the USB charger lead in time.

Precautions

  1. Choking Warning
    This product includes small parts, not for children under 3 years old.

  2. Supervision Required
    Children aged 8 or below should be under the supervision of parents or guardians’ supervision.

  3. Product Safety and Maintenance

    • Please check the product and accessories that came in the package. If there are any defects or missing parts, please contact Customer Support soon at email kolegend-US@outlook.com
    • The rechargeable battery packs need to be charged before first use. Please make sure the input is no more than 5V.
    • A full charge usually takes about 2 hours. Exception: It needs to be charged for 8 hours before first-time use.
    • Please make sure the switch of the product/ controller is set to OFF before installing batteries.
    • Pay attention to the polarity marks in the battery compartments of the controller when installing batteries.
    • If the rechargeable battery power is exhausted, please take it out and connect it to the provided USB cord to recharge.
    • Do not charge the rechargeable batteries by chargers other than the provided USB cord.
    • Do not use larger/more powerful batteries in this product, which will damage the circuit board.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
How to know if the remote and toy are connected? 1.  The LED light on the

remote flashes red, which means it’s trying to connect with a toy.

2.  Few seconds later, the LED turns off, which means they are connected.

The LED light on the remote keeps flashing and the toy does not respond.| 1. The remote did not connect with the toy, which is usually caused by a low battery.

2.  Turn off the switches of both the toy and the remote.

3.  Recharge the batteries and turn on both the toy and remote.

The remote does not respond. The battery is fully charged and the AA batteries for the remote are new.| 1.  The remote is in sleep mode and cannot pair with the toy.

2.  Turn off both toy and remote and then turn them on again to remake a pairing. (Maybe the remote control is damaged, please contact customer service for help)

The arm does not go up and down, while other functions are normal.| The gears get stuck/wear out. Please contact our customer service to solve it.
The toy wheels or tracks do not work| Maybe the wheels or tracks get stuck/worn out. Please contact our customer service to solve it. They will provide you with professional help.

To make sure you don’t invalidate the terms of the warranty, please read this booklet. If a defect in materials, workmanship, and assembly is found BEFORE the product has been used, we will exchange the entire product, if the product is returned complete and in perfect condition in its original packaging.* Warranty is only valid if the items were purchased directly from Kolegend stores on Amazon. Purchases from Amazon Services LLC., Amazon warehouse, or out of Amazon will not be covered by the warranty.

Covered by Warranty

  • 6-month warranty for the Motor (excludes damages caused by the user, including but not limited to incorrect maintenance).
  • 6-month warranty for the remote controller (excludes damages caused by the user, including but not limited to incorrect operation or maintenance).
  • 3-month warranty for the gear connection and fix the arm and bucket. (excludes damages caused by the user, including but not limited to operation or maintenance).
  • 3-month warranty for the tire or track of toys. (excludes damages caused by the user, including but not limited to operation or maintenance).
  • 1-month warranty for the rechargeable batteries and charging cord (excludes damages caused by the user, including but not limited to incorrect charging or maintenance).

Not Covered by Warranty

  • All other parts are not mentioned above.
  • Component failure or premature wear as a result of crash damage.
  • Gear wear as a result of manually operating the arm.
  • Water damage or problems resulting from water intake.

*In many cases, it is faster and more cost-effective for the user to fit replacement parts to the product, so we maintain the right to request this from the user.
