SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Thank you for purchasing a Mavpet Pet Grooming Vacuum. To reduce the risk of injury, and to extend the life of your product, please read and observe all information in this manual prior to and while using this product. Please save this manual for future reference.

  1. This product is designed for household use only and should not be used for commercial use.
  2. Under no circumstances should children operate this product.
  3. When using the product near children, exercise extra caution, and do not allow them to play with it.
  4. Never touch the power plug or the product with wet hands.
  5. In the event of a damaged power cord or plug, machine malfunctions, or if the product comes into contact with liquid, immediately unplug the machine and do not use it.
  6. Do not attempt to disassemble the product, as incorrect assembly could lead to electric shock or fire.
  7. Use the vacuum cleaner only on dry surfaces and avoid using it on wet pets. Never vacuum liquids or use it in areas with flammable or combusti­ble gases.
  8. Avoid pulling the power cord, placing heavy objects on top of the machine, or clamping the wires to a closed door, as it may damage the cord and create a safety hazard.
  9. Do not use the vacuum cleaner to suck up anything that is on fire, smok­ing, or of high temperature, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot soot. Also, avoid blocking the machine’s openings during use.
  10. Always unplug the machine before performing any maintenance or clean­ing to prevent accidental start-up and ensure your safety.
  11. It is essential to keep the vacuum cleaner away from humid places, such as bathrooms or outdoors while raining.
  12. Avoid using products with fragrances as filters, as these chemicals may increase the risk of fire hazards.
  13. Use the vacuum cleaner only with the specified voltage to prevent damage and ensure safe operation.
  14. Do not operate or unplug the power cord with wet hands to prevent electric shock.
  15. During initial use, a peculiar smell is normal and will dissipate over time. However, if the smell persists, stop using the product immediately.
  16. Regularly clean the dust cup and filter to avoid malfunctions. Using the vacuum cleaner with a dirty dust cup and filter may lead to operational issues.
  17. The vacuum cleaner has a safety feature to shut itself down if the temperature rises abnormally or if the suction area is blocked. To restart it, remove the dust cup, ensure the suction area and filter are clean, and wait for 30 minutes before turning it on again.
  18. Never turn on the machine with the HEPA filter or sponge removed, as it may cause damage to the motor.
  19. Be aware that some accessories may have sharp blades or edges due to their functional purposes. Take extra care and be cautious when using such accessories to prevent accidents or cuts.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

VACUUM MACHINE

  1. Insert the Hose Connector into the machine’s elbow until you hear a click, indicating a secure connection.

  2. Attach the desired accessory to the detachable hose.

  3. Install the Hose Holder on the machine.

  4. Press the Dust Cup Release Button and pull the Carrying Handle to remove the Dust Cup.

  5. Before operating the machine, it is essential to ensure that HEPA filter and sponge are installed on the Base, and that sponge filter is properly placed at the bottom of the Dust Cup.

  6. Replace the Dust Cup to the Base: Please align the bottom of the Dust Cup with the groove on the base, and firmly press the Dust Cup in place until you hear a clicking sound.

  7. Press the ON/OFF button to start/stop the operation.

  8. Adjust the operation speed according to your preferences by pressing the Speed Control button(“+” & “-“), which offers three modes: silent mode, standard mode, and max mode. Each mode gradually increases the suction power, allowing you to choose the level that best fits your needs.

ACCESSORIES

Rechargeable Electric Clipper

  • The Rechargeable Electric Clipper is specially designed for trimming your pet’s hair and collecting the trimmed hair into the dust cup, preventing it from scattering elsewhere.
  • Please fully charge the battery before first use.
  • Gently pull the rubber cover and use the provided Type-C charging cable to connect the device to a DC 5V 1A power source. The battery requires 2 hours or more to reach a full charge, and once fully charged, it can be used for more than 2 hours. After charging, replace the rubber cover over the charging port.
  • Press and hold the power button to turn ON/OFF.
  • Indicator light meanings:
    • Low battery: The red light is flashing.
    • Charging: The red light is flashing.
    • Fully charged: The green light is on.
    • During a haircut: Both the green light and the white light are on.
  • The clipper comes with four different Guide Combs that can be used for various hair styles.
  • To ensure a safe and comfortable grooming experience, please exer­cise caution and pay attention to the cutting edge and sharp position when using the clipper, so as to avoid any potential injury to your pet.

Deshedding Brush

  • The Deshedding Brush is designed to efficiently remove the dead loose hair and tangles from both long and short coats whilst stimulating blood flow to the skin. With the utilization of this brush, you can significantly reduce shedding by up to 95%, effectively removing loose and tangled hair, and thereby promoting a healthier and more manageable coat for your pet.

  • Please be mindful of the cutting edge when using the brush to avoid any potential injury to your pet. Do not use excessive force as it causes skin irritation.

  • Taking care to monitor the quantity of pet hair will help prevent any blockages and ensure the smooth functioning of the brush.

Slicker Brush
The Slicker Brush is designed to effectively clean away loose or stray hair, as well as debris from your pet’s coat. Additionally, it has the function of lengthening the hair, resulting in a more fluffy and voluminous appearance.

Crevice Tool/ Brush
The Crevice Tool is a versatile accessory that can be used separately or jointly with the brush. It is specifically designed to effectively clean loose pet hair from tables, chairs, sofas, keyboards, and various other surfaces. Its narrow and elongated shape enables it to reach and clean tight spaces and crevices where pet hair tends to accu­mulate.

Pet Hair Roller
The Pet Hair Roller is a convenient and effective tool for quickly removing pet hair, lint, and debris from clothes, sofas, and other fabrics. It picks up and traps pet hair and other unwanted particles when rolled over the surface.

Helpful Tip: If you encounter a lot of hair clogging in the suction area, consider adjusting the vacuum level to a higher setting for more effective cleaning. Alternatively, you can manually remove the hair from the suction area by pulling it out before continuing to vacuum. This way, you can maintain optimal performance and ensure efficient cleaning.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the Dust Cup
Press the Dust Cup Latch to empty hair, dirt, and any other collected particles from the dust cup into the dustbin.
CAUTION: When handling the dust cup, be sure to handle it with care. If you have cleaned it with water, make sure to wait for the dust cup to dry completely before reinstalling it. This precaution is essential to prevent water from entering the motor, which could lead to electric shock or damage to the machine.

Clean the Clipper Blade
Remove the blade and cover from the clipper. Use the vacuum to clean any debris from the blade. Use the cleaning brush to thoroughly clean the blade.

Clean the Sponge Filter

  1. Remove the dust cup from the vacuum. Take out the sponge filter located underneath the dust cup.
  2. Rinse the sponge filter with water to remove dirt and debris.
  3. After cleaning, drain the excess water from the sponge filter. Place the sponge filter in a well-ventilated area allow it to dry completely. Do not wring.
  4. Once the sponge filter is thoroughly dry, you can place it back in the dust cup and resume using it for optimal performance.

Clean the HEPA Filter

  1. Remove the dust cup from the vacuum. Take out the HEPA filter.
  2. Rinse the HEPA filter with water, but avoid scrubbing it with a brush, as this could damage the delicate filter material.
  3. After cleaning, remove any excess water from the HEPA filter and let it dry completely before putting it back in its original place.

Keep the Machine Tidy
After cleaning the machine, follow these steps to keep the machine neat and tidy:

  1. Organize the power cord and secure it using the strap provided.
  2. Wrap the hose around the machine twice.
  3. Place the hose connector, with or without the accessory attached, on the hose holder to keep everything tidy and organized. This ensures the machine is ready for convenient access and use when needed again.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Problems Possible Causes Solutions
The motor is not turning. The plug is not inserted properly.

The switch is not turned on.

| Reconnect the power supply and ensure the switch is turned on.
Weak Suction.| The filter is dirty.| Clean the filter and empty the dust cup regularly to maintain optimal suction power.
The dust cup is too full.
Running with strange sound.| The filter, hose or the accessory is clogged.| Remove the blockage in the filter/ hose I accessory promptly to eliminate the strange sound.

If the strange noise persists even after removing the blockage, discontinue use immediately, and contact us for assistance.

Suddenly stops.| The plug is not plugged in or is loose.| Make sure the power cord is plugged in firmly.
A clogged dust cup or air outlet triggers the motor thermostat’s protection, causing the device to stop.| Switch off the power. Clean the dust cup and air outlet to clear any blockages. Wait for approximately 30 minutes before turning the power back on.

Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty

  • The Manufacturer of this product warrants to the original purchaser of this product that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 2 years from date of purchase. Manufacturer will, at its option, repair or replace with a new or refurbished product.
  • Providing a replacement product does not renew or extend the warranty period from the original date of purchase.
  • The Manufacturer reserves the right, before having any obligation under this limited warranty, to inspect the product, and all costs of shipping the product for inspection and warranty service shall be borne solely by the purchaser:
  • For the fastest processing of a warranty claim, the Purchaser should e-mail customercare@mavpet.com and include the product name and model #, proof of original purchase, complete contact information, and detailed information about the issue, including pictures when applicable.
  • The manufacturer’s limited warranty is valid only in accordance with the following conditions:

    2. Only the original purchaser is covered by this warranty. This warranty is not transferable.
