PRODUCT INSTRUCTION

Thank you for purchasing a Mavpet Cat Water Fountain. To reduce the risk of injury, and to extend the life of your product, please read and observe allinformation in this manual prior to and while using this product. Please save this manual for future reference.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Although this is a low Wattage item, an electric shock/electrocution risk is present if your pet chews through the power cord, exposing the wires. Always inspect the cord before use and do not allow pets to chew on it.
• Please choose DC 5V-1A adapters in line with relevant national and regional standards to avoid possible damage or safety hazards.
• Place the product horizontally on a stable surface so it cannot tip over. Tipping over may result in damage, malfunction, or water leakage.
• Do not clean any part of this product in dishwasher.
• To move this product or keep it idle for an extended time, please unplug the power cord.
• Children should not handle this device without close adult supervision.
• Check the water level in the fountain daily.
• Do not repair the product without the guidance of professionals to avoid any possible injuries. In the event of a performance issue, please contact our customer service department for assistance.
• When the LED light of the water pump is solid blue, the fountain is working normally. When the LED light is solid red, the fountain is low or out of water, replenish water soon.
• To avoid possible electrical shock, this appliance is for indoor household use only.
• Set up the appliance on an even, stable, clean, non-slip, dry and fireproof surface in an open area.
• Do not wash the filter with soapy water. Soap residue will remain in the filter and may cause injury to your pet. Replace filter as needed.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Please follow the steps below before first use.

  1. Please prepare the filter by soaking it in 41-113°F (5 – 45°C) clean water for about 5 minutes before installation. Discard the water.

• It’s normal for the water used to initially soak the filter to turn yellow or be colorless. The water is not drinkable. 2. Rinse the tray and tank with clean water.

• No parts of this product : are dishwasher safe. Hand wash only. 3. Fill clean water into the tank.
  Keep the water amount within the specified capacity of 845 0z (2.5 L).

• Range of water temperature: 41-113 °F (5 ~ 45 °C) 4. Place the filter upwards into the filter cap, keeping it horizontally in alignment with the groove. 5. Insert the outlet pipe and the USB pump into the bottom of the upper cover securely. 6. Put the upper cover assembly onto the water tank.
  

  7. Place the woter fountain on flat ground and power on to run.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Add water
   1.1 Remove the entire upper tray assembly as shown below.
   1.2 Fill with clean water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.

2. Connect to power supply
   2.1 Connect OC wire to the adapter and plug into the socket.

CLEAN THE USB PUMP

1. Cleaning the pump can extend the service life. It’s recommended to clean the pump every 1-2 months to avoid bad circulation, poor water quality and increased noise due to blockage.
2. Please disassemble the pump and wash it using clean water and a brush, following the steps shown below.
   Step 1: Remove the pump cover.
   Step 2: Remove the filter cover.
   Step 3: Rernove the Impeller.
   Step 4: Cleon the parts with the cleaning kit provided.

REPLACE THE FILTER

1. The filter should be replaced if the water is cloudy, approximately every 2-4 weeks. It’s recommended to replace the filter every two weeks when shared by multiple pets.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:

1. Damage caused by force majeure factors such as fire, lightning, rainstorm, earthquake as examples.
2. Damage caused by human error or animals.
3. Damage caused by failure to abide by the user manual before assembly, use, disassembly and repair.
4. Color fading, wear and tear during normal use.

FAQ

1. Why is the water pump not spraying water normally when the power is plugged in?

Al: The base may not be plugged in properly, and readjust it until it is completely plugged in. A2: The water pump is not leveled or is not directly facing the transmitter. Please place the water pump in a fixed position. Plug in the power again.

2. Why the noise of water pump is higher than before?

AT Itis possible that the water level is too low, please add more water. A2: It is possible that there are foreign matters such as hair on blades, please disassemble the water pump and have it cleaned.

3. How often should the fountain be cleaned?

The fountain should be cleaned as needed. We recommend using dish soap and a sponge for cleaning. Harsh chemicals and abrasive materials should not be used.

4. Is it normal if the adapter is heating when the fountain running 24 hours?

Consistent with safety standards, the power cord may be warm during operation. This will not cause any damage to the fountain.

5. Can the fountain be left on continuously?

The fountain is safe to use continuously. The fountain operates. using low voltage, approximately the same as a cellphone charger. It will consume no more than 1 kilowatt hour per month with 24-hour operation daily.

6. How often should the activated carbon filter be replaced?

It is recommended to replace the activated carbon filter every two to four weeks depending usage and number of pets.

Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty

The Manufacturer of this product warrants to the original purchaser of this product that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 2 years from date of purchase. Manufacturer will, at its option, repair or replace with a new or refurbished product. Providing a replacement product does not renew or extend the warranty period from the original date of purchase.
The Manufacturer reserves the right, before having any obligation under this limited warranty, to inspect the product, and all costs of shipping the product for inspection and warranty service shall be borne solely by the purchaser.
For the fastest processing of a warranty claim, the Purchaser should e-mail [email protected] and include the product name and model #, proof of original purchase, complete contact information, and detailed information about the issue, including pictures when applicable.
The manufacturer’s limited warranty is valid only in accordance with the following conditions:

1. The product is purchased directly from manufacturer or an authorized reseller or distributor.
2. Only the original purchaser is covered by this warranty. This warranty is. not transferable.
3. Product is for personal use only. This warranty s void if the product is used in acommercial or institutional establishment.
4. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, acts of nature, or unauthorized modification or repair.
5. Purchaser must present acceptable proof of purchase for the product.
