Q: What should I do if the programming change does not take effect?
A: If the programming change does not take effect, ensure that you press the Light Button within 25 seconds of selecting the new Low-Level configuration.
Description
The Gecko Heater-Controller is the heart of the Water Quality System. The Gecko carries the programming needed for all product configurations. In the event that the Gecko needs to be replaced, the replacement controller’s programming (Low-Level) MUST be configured once power is introduced to the system in order for the Water Quality System to function.
Programming the Gecko Heater-Controller
Refer to the charts below to determine the appropriate Low-Level configuration for your Endless Pools model. Then, refer to the procedures on Page 2 to program the Gecko or change the programming.

PROGRAMMING GECKO HEATER-CONTROLLER LOW-LEVEL
Programming the Gecko is done on the keypad using the Up Button and Light Button .

When power is introduced to the pool equipment, the system will go through a boot up cycle. At the end of the cycle, the keypad will display L or LL (depending on the keypad model) with a blinking number, representing the Gecko Heater-Controller’s Low-Level number.

Use the Up Button on the keypad to toggle to the appropriate Low-Level for the model of pool present,
referencing the chart on the previous page. -
Press the Light Button on the keypad to store the setting. The system will go through another boot up cycle that can last up to 5 minutes. At the end of the cycle, the keypad will display the water temperature.
CHANGING GECKO HEATER-CONTROLLER LOW-LEVEL
There may be times where it may be necessary or desirable to change the Low-
Level configuration.
Changing the Low-Level is done on the keypad using the Pump 1 Button OR Pump
Button (depending on the keypad model), the Up Button , and the Light Button .

Press and hold the Pump 1 Button OR Pump Button on the keypad until L or LL with a blinking number is
displayed. Remove your finger from the button when this happens.
NOTE: It will take approximately 30 seconds for the L or LL to appear on the screen while holding the Pump Button. -
Use the Up Button on the keypad to toggle to the appropriate Low-Level for the model of pool present,
referencing the chart on the previous page. -
Press the Light Button on the keypad to store the setting. The system will go through a boot up cycle that can last up to 5 minutes. At the end of the cycle, the keypad will display the water temperature.
NOTE: If the Light Button is not pressed within 25 seconds, then the programming change will not take effect.
