Install the Handlebar Tube

Note: The inserted part should exceed the safety mark.

  1. Put the headset dust cap on the frame head tube.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-FIG-4
  2. Insert the handlebar tube into the frame head tube. NOTE: Do not twist the wire harness.
  3. Pre-tighten the screws with the No. 6 Allen key from the 16-in-1 tool. (don’t lock too tight)
  4. Adjust the relative parallelism between the handlebar, front fork and frame.
  5. Tighten the screws with the No. 6 Allen key in the 16-in-1 tool.
  6. Fasten the tube screw plug.
  7. Rotate clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the handlebar to a suitable angle.
  8. Use the No. 6 Allen key in the 16-in-1 tool to tighten the screws to lock the handlebars.

Install the Front Fender

  1. Pre-install the headlights and fenders on the front fork with the headlight fixing screws.

  2. Tighten the screw with the No. 5 Allen key in the 16-in-1 tool.

  3. Pre-tighten the nut.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-FIG-14
    Take out the 10mm sleeve.

  4. Assemble the 16-in-1 tool as shown.

  5. Use the assembled tool to tighten the nut.

  6. Use the No. 4 Allen key in the 16-in-1 tool to remove the fixing screws of the mud plate support rods pre-installed on the left and right sides of the front fork.

  7. Fix the front fender support to the corresponding screw holes of the front fork and use the No. 4 Allen key in the 16-in-1 tool to tighten the screws.

Install the Front Wheel

  1. Loosen the nut shown in the picture with the No. 15 open-end wrench in the 16-in-1 tool and remove the support shaft.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-FIG-19
  2. Put the silver disc brake into the brake system.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-FIG-20Put the silver disc brake into the brake system.
  3. Unscrew the quick release rod nut and take out a conical spring.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-FIG-21

  6. Screw on the quick release rod nut as shown.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-FIG-24
  7. Adjust the direction of the wrench, adjust the appropriate screw tightness, and tighten the wrench upwards.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-FIG-25 Note: During this process, ensure that the front wheel is in the center of the front fork tube. If there is any deviation, please loosen the lever to adjust the position of the front wheel, and then lock the lever.

Install the Rear Fender

  1. Use the No. 4 Allen key in the 16-in-1 tool to remove the fender support screws pre-installed on the left and right sides of the frame.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-FIG-26
  2. Fix the rear fender support to the corresponding screw holes of the frame and use the No. 4 Allen key in the 16-in-1 tool to tighten the screws.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-FIG-27

Install the Pedals

The “R” marked on the pedal shaft is the right pedal. The mark “L” is the left pedal.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-FIG-28

Right pedal installation method: The “R” marked on the pedal shaft is the right pedal. First, rotate the pedal shaft clockwise to pre-screw it into the right crank with a chainring, and then use a No. 15 open-end wrench to turn it clockwise to tighten it.HITWAY-BK8-Electric-Bike-

Left pedal installation method: The “L” marked on the pedal shaft is the left pedal. First, turn the pedal shaft counterclockwise by hand to pre-screw it into the left crank, and then use a No. 15 open-end wrench to turn it counterclockwise to tighten and reinforce.

Install the Seat Tube

  1. Pull the seat tube adjustment quick release lever in the direction shown in the picture.
  2. Insert the seat tube and adjust to the desired height ( Note: Insert the seat tube deeper than the safety mark).
  3. Press the quick release lever in the direction shown in the figure.
    Note: If the folding wrench is too tight or too loose, please adjust the screw at “1” appropriately.

Install the Front Reflector

  1. Using the Phillips screwdriver in the 16-in-1 tool, loosen the screws on the front reflector bracket.
  2. Put the front reflector bracket into the corresponding position of the handlebar, and tighten the screw with the Phillips screwdriver in the 16-in-1 tool.

Install the Wheel Reflector

  1. Snap the wheel reflector into the spoke
    ( Note that the spoke should be inserted into the slot in the middle of the wheel reflector).

  2. Turn into the reflector clip and screw it about 90 degrees with the flat-blade screwdriver in the 16-in-1 tool to fix the tightening wheel reflector.

Install the Bell

  1. Using the Phillips screwdriver in the 16-in-1 tool, loosen the screws on the bell bracket.
  2. Put the bell bracket into the corresponding position of the handlebar, and tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver.

Power-on Show

  1. Insert the key into the key hole at “1” in the picture, and turn the key to the “ON” position by turning the key to the right at the “OFF” position.
  2. Press the switch at “2” in the picture to power on the display. Otherwise, power off.
  3. Insert the key, turn the key to the “ON” position by turning the key to the “OFF” position.
  4. Power on: Press the switch key in the picture.
