Instructions for using the dashboard

  1. The whole set of controller is composed of 4 parts: motor control board + head display board + front light + tail light.

  2. The controller power supply voltage is: 36V, and the power supply voltage interval value is: 36-42V.

  3. All operation experience is completed by three buttons on the headboard.

  4. The functions of the M button in the middle of the head board are as follows:

  5. In the shutdown state, press and hold the middle M button to start the machine.

  6. In the power-on state, press and hold the middle M button,  and the screen goes off, which means that it is off.

  7. The + – button functions are as follows:

  8. + button, short press to increase the gear, long press to turn on/off the headlight (the headlight function is on and needs to be switched on and off by the controller module)

  9. – button, short press to decrease the gear, and hold down the + and – buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter or exit the parameter setting interface.

  10. The display contents are as follows:

  11. Current speed: display real-time speed information, the unit is km/h or mph, the speed must change continuously, and jumping change is not allowed. for example: jump directly from 20km/h to 0km/h.

  12. Current power: display the battery power, the power is displayed in 4 segments, and the last segment flashes when under voltage.

  13. Current battery voltage: the real-time battery output voltage is displayed in the mileage area.

  14. Total mileage ODO: display the accumulated total mileage, the display unit is km or mile.

  15. Single mileage TRIP: display the mileage of this trip, the display unit is km or milel.

  16. Turn handle PWM output: turn handle output signal to PWM thousandth ratio.

  17. Current gear: ECO-low gear, MID-mid gear, HIGH-high gear.

  18. Fault: display fault codes.

  20. E001: The instrument cannot receive the data of the controller or the received data is the wrong data.

  21. E002: The controller cannot receive the data of the instrument or the received data is the wrong data.

    Warning:
    using unapproved parts or not installing parts may cause damage or personal injury to the electric bicycle. In order to ensure quality and safety, all parts of the company’s electric bicycles must be approved by the company and ensure that they are correctly installed on the electric bicycle.

Straighten the direction pole in the direction as shown in the figure, and lock the folding handle as shown in the figure (as shown).

Charging

.Charging method

  • Step 1: The charging port is on the right side of the battery, as shown .

  • Step 2: Open the rubber cover of the charging hole and insert it into the charger interface (make sure the power connection port is dry).

  • Step 3: The indicator light on the charger lights red, indicating that charging is in progress; when the indicator changes from red to green, it indicates that the battery is fully .
    Please stop charging at this time because long-term charging will affect the life of the battery.

  • Step 4: Cover the charging port rubber cover when charging is completed to prevent water from entering.

Safety tips for charging

  • Charge the battery for at least 5 hours before the first operation.
  • In order to maximize the life of the battery, please charge it every other month or 2 days after each ride, and please charge it in a suitable temperature environment.
  • Failure to charge on time may result in battery damage. As time goes by, the battery power will gradually run out, and eventually cause the battery to over discharge.
  • Please use the battery, charger and cable provided by the original manufacturer to avoid the danger of overcharging the battery.
  • Please make sure the charger cable is connected correctly and there is enough ventilation environment.
  • Please make sure to use it in a dry environment. Never allow the charger or cable to come into contact with water, as this may cause electric shock. Do not touch with wet hands. During the charging process, if there is any fault, unplug the power plug immediately.
  • Please be sure to pull out the plug, do not pull out the plug from the cable.
  • Please do not allow the charger or cable to come into contact with sharp or hot objects.
  • Please regularly perform visual inspections for chargers and charger cables.
  • If there is obvious damage to the charger or cable, to avoid further damage, please do not use the charger, and please contact for replacement.

Riding electric bicycle
This electric bicycle is a high-tech mobility product. If you don’t understand the operation specifications, riding will cause unpredictable injuries. The following will explain in detail to novices, especially users who use electric bicycles for the first time. How to correctly ride an electric bicycle, and list the precautions during riding, please be sure to read carefully and ride the electric bicycle as required.

Precautions before riding
The loss of electric bicycle may occur during riding and parking, which will affect the performance of the product. Therefore, before riding an electric bicycle, you must do the following inspections:

  • It is necessary to check whether all components of the electric bicycle are installed firmly without damage.

  • The brake function is intact.

  • The folding mechanism is locked.

  • There is enough electricity.

  • The tires are in good condition.

  • Whether the handlebars are fixed, if there are signs of loosening, please tighten them inwards.

  • You need to find a relatively open and flat area for riding practice, at least 4m * 20m area, both indoors and outdoors.

  • You need to fully understand the surrounding riding environment; ensure that it will not be interfered by cars, pedestrians, pets, bicycles and other obstacles.

  • You need a skilled assistant beside. The assistant needs to be able to skillfully operate electric bicycles and to be familiar with all precautions and riding methods in this manual.

  • Please do not test on a smooth and slippery ground.

  •  Please be sure to bring a safety helmet and protective equipment to avoid possible injury.
    Warning:

    • humidity will cause the brake to slow down. After washing the body of the electric bicycle, dry the brake in a safe place.
    • Avoid using this product in bad weather (such as rain, snow or ice).
    • When using this product in any environment, please make sure that the brake can be used normally.

Precautions for safe riding
This electric bicycle is a personal mobility tool with a certain speed, and its technology and production have been strictly tested. However, if you do not use it in accordance with the safety warnings specified in this manual, it may bring you a riding risk, whenever and wherever, due to falls, runaway, collision and other reasons, including not complying with the requirements of this manual.Riding an electric bicycle may lead to injury or death.In order to reduce the risk and avoid injury, you must carefully read this manual and watch related safety videos, and follow the following precautions:

  • Wear a helmet and protective equipment when riding.
  • Do not exceed 12° slope when going up and down, and do not accelerate or decelerate sharply on the slope.
  • Pay attention to obstacles and slipping on the road; do not ride on the grass or small gravel road.
  • The wading depth should not exceed 30mm.
  • It is forbidden to ride up and down steps.
  • It is forbidden to drive on the motorway.
  • It is forbidden to immerse the car in water.
  • Beginners younger than 18 or older than 45 need someone to assist in learning when riding.
  • Please make sure that the power is sufficient and the tires are properly inflated before use.
  • Do not try a faster driving speed before you are familiar with riding, please accelerate slowly.
  • Due to the special properties of lithium batteries, the user is required to charge the electric bicycle at least once a month. If the battery is damaged due to no regular maintenance, it is not covered by the company’s warranty.
  • E-bikes are only used for daily travel, Please do not use them for extreme sports and similar dangerous riding methods.

Maintenance

Storage

  • Avoid storing the car in direct sunlight (even in the trunk of your bike) because the temperature of the bike body and battery can be as high as 50 degrees Celsius after a period of time, which will cause damage to the battery function and shorten the life of the product.
  • Avoid storing electric bicycles in humid environments.
  • When the electric bicycle is not in use, the battery will discharge automatically, and the battery power should be detected at least once a month and charged in time.
  • Avoid irreparable losses (such as deep battery discharge) caused by long-term battery non-charging.
  • In winter, batteries may lose power more quickly due to low temperatures.
  • Unreasonable storage will cause the life of the lithium battery in the bike to be shortened or other hidden dangers. Please store the electric bicycle in a dry indoor place with suitable temperature and humidity.

Cleaning

  • Before cleaning, make sure that the bike body is turned off, unplug the charging cable, and close the charging port. During the cleaning process, be careful not to let water flow into the charging port.
  • The waterproof and dust proof registration of electric bicycles is IP54, that is, splash proof and dust proof. Therefore, do not immerse the electric bicycle in water, as this will cause permanent damage to the electric bicycle.

Processing
Batteries and power equipment should not be regarded as general household waste disposal. You have made significant contributions to environmental protection by riding electric bicycles. In order to further avoid unnecessary pollution:

  1. Please handle your electric bicycle and all related accessories (batteries) through authorized processing facilities.
  2. Please follow the latest applicable guidelines. If you have any questions, please contact our after-sales department.

Inflation and replacement of inner and outer tires
In case of insufficient air pressure or different air pressure of two tires, please inflate in time to ensure that the air pressure of the two tires is the same. The default factory tire is 2.8Bar, and the rear wheel is 2.5Bar. If the tire needs to be replaced due to a flat tire or other reasons, please contact our after-sales department for repair. (You can also go to a bicycle repair shop to repair).

Disc brake maintenance

  1. Insert the elbow into the screw of the brake and fix it to the frame. According to the direction of the screw “left and right tighten”, first turn it gently to the left to loosen the brake slightly.
  2. Then, the left (right) hand squeezes the brake, the purpose is to hold the rear brake close to the brake pads and keep it squeezed.
  3. Then use the elbow to tighten the brake backwards until the brake is fixed tightly, and then release the brake, the brake automatically responds, the brake pads are in the right direction, and they will not be worn.
