SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read this instruction manual and keep it for future reference. Producer does not claim liability for any damage caused by inappropriate use and handling or any mechanical damage. Improper use and handling will result in damage and shortening of the life of the device.

  • Before connecting the device to power supply socket, make sure that the voltage indicated on the device corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.
  • Disconnect from power outlet if the device is not going to be used for a long time.
  • Do not look directly into the lens while the projector is working.
  • Place the device on flat, stable surface. The device must be placed and mounted safely and securely. Follow the recommendations to avoid potential damage/injury.
  • The device must be placed in properly ventilated place. Do not cover ventilation slots of the device. Insufficient airflow or using the projector in dusty environments will result in lamp overheating and damaging the device! Do not place any objects in the device case.
  • Keep the minimal distance (at least 15 cm) between the projector and other objects to ensure the proper ventilation.
  • Protect the device from dust, heat sources, direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not use the device nearby open flames such as candles. Avoid using/storing it in the strong magnetic environment. Protect power cord from sharp edges and other factors which could lead to their damage.
  • Protect this device from humidity, water and other liquid. Do not handle this device with wet hands.
  • This device is for indoor use only.
  • Prevent the device from falling on the ground or being strongly impacted.
  • This appliance may be used by children who are above 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised and guided by a person who is responsible for their safety in a cautious manner for all the safety precautions being understood and followed. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Children should not perform cleaning and servicing of the device unsupervised.
  • This product is not a toy; keep it beyond children’s reach.
  • Cables protection: cables should be routed so that they are not likely to be pinched by items placed upon or against them.

  • While using headphones, too high volume level can lead to hearing problems. Properly adjust the volume level during long listening sessions. Before connecting the earphones to the device, turn the volume down to avoid damaging ears. Keep the volume at a reasonable level throughout entire time of using the earphones.
  • Always disconnect the product from the power source before cleaning. Clean this device regularly (at least one a month) with soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use any abrasives or chemical agents to clean this product.
  • Never use this device if the power cord or the device itself is damaged.

IMPORTANT

  • Projector’s lamp is a degrading part. After some time of using, the brightness will be decreased compared to a new device.
  • To maintain prolonged lamp life, do not unplug the device suddenly from the mains power supply! After turning off the device, wait at least 5 minutes before turning it on again.
  • Do not use the projector continuously!
  • Do not pack up the device until it’s fully cooled down!

INSTALLATION AND MOUNTING

Before using the device, pick an appropriate spot for the projector. Follow instructions and hints below for optimal usage.

IMPORTANT:

  • Always make sure that the device is mounted safely and stably.
  • Keep the proper distance between the device and other objects. Do not cover ventilation outlets of the device!
  • Remember that the projector has to be placed parallel and perpendicularly to the wall or projection screen.
  • Use and store the device in clean place with room temperature. The device MUST NOT be used in dusty environment. Do not place the device near an AC unit. Do not cover ventilation vents, this can lead to overheating and damage.
  • Brightness of the room is key to getting good quality picture. Lower the room brightness for getting an optimum image.

Projection distance and size

For optimum result of projection, follow the illustration and chart below. Distance provided is measured from lens to projected surface, for default 16:9 ratio settings.

Mounting

  • User can place the projector on a shelf, or using threads on the bottom of the device. Threads are located under rubber feet. To gain access to them, pry the feet up and take them out.
  • Always make sure that the device is mounted safely and stably, horizontally or a slight angle. Do not install the device vertically nor at an angle. Do not place any objects on the projector or around it in close proximity.

IMPORTANT: user is required to make sure that the projector was installed stably and safely on the mount.
If the projector is going to be placed behind the projections screen or mounted upside down on the mount, make sure to change the picture orientation in projection settings.

Keystone and focus correction

The projector will perform automatic keystone and focus correction:

  • During power on
  • After detecting the position change
    • Set focus point can be adjusted with the manual focus adjustment buttons on the remote. Set keystone correction can be adjusted in the Corner correction menu (Settings -> Projection settings). If the projector is setting the keystone incorrectly, go to the Projection settings menu, then Keystone settings and perform the Keystone benchmark correction (the projector has to be placed on a flat surface and perpendicularly to the projection screen).

BATTERY INSTALLATION

Before first use (or when remotes range has decreased) replace the batteries:

  1. Open the battery compartment.
  2. Place two AA batteries, according to polarity. Close the battery compartment cover.

Caution:

  • If the remote is not going to be used in a long time, store it without batteries inside.
  • Caution: explosion hazard! Keep the batteries away from heat sources, flame and direct sunlight. Do not throw the device into fire.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Brightness of the room and presence of obstacles can affect the working range of the remote.
  • Obstacles between remote and exposure to direct sunlight may reduce operation range.

OPERATION

  1. Connect the power cable to the projector and into power supply socket. The indicator light will turn red. The projector is in standby mode.
  2. Press the power button on the control panel of the projector or on the remote control to turn on theprojector.
  3. After powering on, the projector will perform focus and keystone correction adjustment.
  4. Select playing source:
    • Streaming app (or other app)
    • Connected external device. To select external device, press the input select button on the remote.
  5. To turn off the projector, press the power button and select Power off option (the projector will also turn off automatically after 15 seconds after pressing the power button).

Note

  • The producer does not guarantee compatibility with every external button.

Wireless screen mirroring

Attention: make sure that the projector and external device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
From the Apps menu select Android Mirroring. Connecting with the projector depends on the operating system of an external device.

Android

Attention: not every Android device is compatible with wireless screen mirroring. Make sure that your phone has this function.

  1. Open the settings menu.
  2. Go to the Connections and sharing menu.
  3. Select Screen sharing.
  4. Select KM0373 from list.

Windows 11

  1. Open the Settings menu.
  2. Go to the System menu and select Display.
  3. Expand the Displays list and select Wireless display option.
  4. Select KM0373 from list.

Windows 10

  1. Open the notification panel.
  2. Press the Connect tile and select Connect to wireless display.
  3. Select KM0373 from list.

Playing via Bluetooth

Caution: the Bluetooth functionality is for audio only.

  1. On the projector open the Bluetooth speaker app.
  2. On the phone (or other external device) search for Bluetooth devices and select KM0373.
  3. After successful pairing, open a music app on the phone (or other external device). The sound will be played through projectors speaker.
  4. Press the Turn off screen to disable the picture, leaving only the speaker.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Clean the outer casing of the device with soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive agents.
  • Clean the lens with cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol.
  • If the vents become clogged with dust, clean it with vacuum cleaner.
