Dual Mains Outlets and Qi

• ChargePort Pro Universal features two universal mains outlets which are rotated to maximise flexibility and can supply a total of up to 1 DA.
• The top surface has an integrated 10W Qi wireless charging pad. Simply place your Qi compatible smartphone on the charging pad to enable charging.

USB Charging

• Dual USB-C outlets can charge up to 45 watts (shared) for smartphones, tablets and laptops.
• In addition USB Type-A is also provided and supports 5V at up to 2.4A (12 watts) making it suitable for charging smartphones and tablets.

Flying Socket for Power Cable

• The inline C14 socket on a 2ft (0.61m) flying lead allows you to easily attach a suitable power cable.

Security Options

• For additional security choose from a lanyard, adhesive pad or a cable clamp. A security bracket is also available as an additional cost option.

Important Safety Instructions

• Read these instructions carefully before attempting any installation.
• Follow all instructions and heed all warnings. These instructions should be kept for future reference.
• This equipment is designed for indoor use only.
• The mains plug used to disconnect this equipment from its power source must be readily accessible at all times.
• Ensure the power cords are uncoiled before installation.
• Protect the power cords from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles and the point where they exit from the equipment.
• The power cord must be plugged into a mains socket outlet with protective earthing.
• The maximum distance to the receptacle (mains outlet) is determined by the length of cord provided.
• Clean only with a dry cloth.
• Servicing is required when the equipment has been damaged in any way. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
• Unplug this equipment during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• The wireless charger may get a little warm during use, this is normal.
• The wireless charger will not charge any devices that do not contorm to the Qi specification.
• Do NOT defeat the safety purpose of the grounded plug. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet consult a qualified electrician to replace the obsolete outlet.
• Do NOT install or use this equipment near water.
• Do NOT expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
• Do NOT expose to dripping or splashing. No objects filled with liquid such as vases shall be placed on the equipment.
• Do NOT install near any heat sources such as radiators, convection heaters or other apparatus such as amplifiers that produce heat.
• Do NOT exceed the maximum load of 10 amps.
• Do NOT use the wireless charger with devices that are not Qi Certified.
• Do NOT use corrosive, abrasive or solvent based cleaners on the product.
• Do NOT attempt to disassemble this product, it may result in short- circuit or even damage.

Dimensions

Installation

Before starting installation make sure you have read and understood the “Important Safety instructions”. Note the ChargePort Pro must be sited so the power outlet can be reached with the cord provided and without modification to the cord.
If required, decide which security option(s) to use.

Cable clamp

• Place the cable clamp over the mains fly lead and fix with screws to a suitable surface. Make sure there is sufficient play in the cable and that the cable easily reaches the mains outlet so it can be plugged in. Make sure the screws are clear of the cable before tightening. Do not over tighten.

Adhesive pad

Make sure the area you are sticking it to is clean and free from grease. Remove the protective covering from the side of the pad that attaches to the base of the ChargePort Pro and stick it to the base. Remove the other protective covering and place on the surface as required. Apply gentle downward pressure to ensure good adhesion.

Lanyard

• Attach one end of the lanyard to the base of ChargePort using the screw provided. The other end can be attached to the furniture as required.
• Finally insert the supplied cable into the fly lead and plug the end of the cable into an appropriate mains outlet.

Installation is now complete.

Mains Safety Cutout

• ChargePort Pro is equipped with a 10A safety cutout. In the event the cutout is tripped then unplug any attached devices, wait at 5 minutes and reset the cutout button on the rear.
• If the cutout continues to trip then unplug ChargePort Pro and arrange for it to be serviced by an authorized agent.

Qi Foreign Object Detection

• In the event a metallic foreign object is inadvertently placed on the Qi charging pad then ChargePort Pro will disable wireless charging until the foreign object is removed.

USB Charging Protection

• If a faulty device or cable causes a short circuit or draws too much current then the inbuilt charger will shut down until the fault condition is removed.
