Vangoa VGK610 61-Mini Keys Portable Music Keyboard

Precautions

  1. If it should appear to be malfunctioning, discontinue using it immediately and have it inspected by a qualified service personnel.
  2. Please use the specified adaptor only. Using the wrong adaptor can result in damage to the instrument or overheating.
  3. Unplug the AC power adaptor when not using the instrument, or during electrical storms. Please unplug the power by removing the adaptor, but not dragging the wire directly.
  4. Do not expose the instrument to excessive dust or vibrations, or extreme cold or heat environment to prevent the possibility of panel disfigurements or damage to the internal components.
  5. Before cleaning the instrument, always remove the electric plug from the outlet. Never insert or remove an electric plug with wet hands. Check the electric plug periodically and remove any dirt or dust which may have accumulated on it.
  6. When cleaning the instrument, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use paint thinner, solvents, cleaning fluids, or chemical-impregnated wiping cloths. Also, do not place vinyl, or plastic rubber objects on the instrument, since this might discolor the panel or keyboard.

Power Supply Connections

  • UsingAC Power Adapter
    Use only a dedicated AC-DC power adapter for this keyboard, Unplug the AC adaptor when the equipment is not in use.
    NOTE
    The adapter input voltage must be consistent with the mains voltage.

  • Using Batteries
    Open the battery compartment cover located on the instrument’s bottom panel. Insert six” AA size 1. SV” batteries, being careful to follow the polarity markings on the inside of the compartment. Replace the compartment cover, and make sure that it locks firmly in place. use for a long time, remove the batteries from it, in order.

  • NOTE
    Do not use different kinds of batteries at the same time, or mix old and new batteries.
    When the batteries run down, the low voltage will lead to a weaker volume and distortion of tone, replace them with new batteries. If the instrument is not to be in use for a long time, remove the batteries from it, in order to prevent possible fluid leakage from the battery.

  • The power switch
    Press the “power” switch to on, the LED shows” 12a; which means that the keyboard is on standby.

  • Using headphones/Microphone
    Connect your headphones to the “Phones” jack at the back of the instrument, the internal stereo speaker system is automatically shut off. The headphone is not provided in the stock package. Insert the plug of the electret microphone Jack”MIC” and you can enjoy self-playing and singing.

  • Selecting atone
    Press the “TONE” key, then press the number keys to select different. Or you can change the tone by pressing the “+, -” key. eg: For selecting the tone numbered “108′; Press the “TONE” button first, and then in-put 1, 0 and 8 using the number buttons, meanwhile, the LED will display” 108″.   • Vibrato
    Press “VIB” key, and the screen displays ” J)JEJ; it can add a vibrato effect, press the key again the function will be off.

  • Sustain
    Press the “SUS” button ‚the screen displays” sus; all notes played on the keyboard have a longer sustain. Press the “SUS” button again to turn off the effect.

Keyboard Percussion /Panel Percussion

  • Keyboard Percussion:
    Press the “PERCUSSION” button, and the keyboard will become a percussion keyboard when playing. Every keystroke will have a different percussion effect. To cancel this feature, press the button again.

  • Panel Percussion:
    There are 5 Percussion buttons on the function panel of the keyboard. Pressing these buttons can produce 5 different percussion effects, which can be inserted into the music playing or used independently.

Lesson Mode

  • Lesson Mode 1 (Single Key Mode):
    Press the “LEARN1” button to start Single Key Lesson Mode. Then press any key on the keyboard, and the keynotes along with the accompanying music will be played. If you do not start to perform after selecting a song, a certain section of the song will be played repeatedly until you start by pressing any key. The LED will display the keynotes in keyboard form and staff form. Press the button again or the “START/STOP” button to quit this function.

  • Lesson Mode 2 (Tutti Mode):
    Press the “LEARN2” button to start Tutti Lesson Mode. The accompanying music will be played, and you can perform the keynotes following the accompanying music. The keyboard will play the accompaniment of the selected song, and you can perform the keynotes with the accompaniment. The keynotes will play automatically if you do not start to perform within 3 seconds. The LED will display the keynotes in keyboard form and staff form. Press the button again or the “START/STOP” button to quit this function.

  • Song Selected in Lesson Mode:
    In Lesson Mode, press the number (0-9) key or the “+/-” key to select a song as you desire. For the lessoned songs, please refer to the appendix.

Record and Playback

Press the “REC” Button, and the screen displays “REC.” In this mode, you can record your original performances and songs. You can play back what you recorded by pressing the “PLAY” button, press the button again to repeat. To quit the Record mode, press the “REC” button again or press the “START/STOP” button.

NOTE:
This function allows recording up to 60 notes; the recording will stop when the limit is reached.

Transpose Adjustment Transpose Adjustment is used to set the overall pitch of the keyboard. Press the “TRANSPOSE+” or “TRANSPOSE-” button to transpose the overall pitch up or down in semitone increments. The transpose range is from -6 to +6. The LED will display the adjusted value for 3 seconds. To return to the default value (00), press the “TRANSPOSE+” and “TRANSPOSE-” buttons simultaneously.

Rhythm and Auto Chord

  • Rhythm Starting:
    Press the “START/STOP” button to start the Rhythm accompaniment. Press the button again to quit the Rhythm.

  • Rhythm Selecting:
    Press the “RHYTHM” button, then press the number (0-9) to select the rhythm you want. The LED will display the rhythm number you have selected. For example, to select the Rhythm numbered “108,” press the “RHYTHM” button first, and then input 1, 0, and 8 using the number pad, and the LED will display “108.” You can also use the “+” and “-” buttons to select the rhythm you want.

  • Sync Chord, Chord Mode Selecting:

    • Sync Function:
      Press the “SYNC” button, and the screen displays “SYN,” and then use the accompanied keyboard (1st-19th keys on the left keyboard) to perform. The rhythm and performing will play synchronously.

    • Single Finger Mode:
      Press the “SINGLE” finger chord button in Rhythm Mode or Sync Mode, the screen displays “C-1.” Then use the accompanied keyboard, and the chord will play with rhythm. Press the “SINGLE” button again to quit this mode.

    • Fingered Mode:
      Press the “FINGERED” chord button in Rhythm Mode or Sync Mode, the screen displays “C-2.” Then use the accompanied keyboard, and the chord will play with rhythm. Press the “FINGERED” button again to quit this mode.

NOTE:

  • Chord Tone:
    In the status of the chord, press the “CHORD TONES” button repeatedly to switch among the 4 chord voice modes in a cycle. In the single or fingered chord function, press the “START/STOP” button to cancel the chord and rhythm simultaneously.

  • Metronome:
    In normal mode, press the “METRONOME” button, and the metronome will repeat in the cycle 1/4 time – 2/4 time – 3/4 time – 4/4 time – stop – 1/4 time – and so on. The default speed is 120.

  • Fill-In Function:
    Press the “FILL-IN” button when using rhythm, and the machine will auto-play an annotated rhythm and then continue the normal rhythm.

  • Adjust the Tempo:
    The default rhythm tempo is 120 times/minute. Press the “TEMPO+” or “TEMPO-” button to change the tempo within a range from 30 times/minute to 240 times/minute. Press the “TEMPO+” and “TEMPO-” buttons simultaneously to return to the default speed.

Programming and Playback Press the “PROG” button, the screen displays “PRO.” Then press the panel percussion buttons; the machine can record up to 32 drumbeats. When finished, press the “PLAY” button to replay the notes recorded. Use the “TEMPO+” or “TEMPO-” buttons to adjust the playing speed. To cancel the function, press the “PROG” button again or press the “START/STOP” button.

Demo Songs Press the “DEMO” button, and the songs in memory will play one by one until you cancel this function by pressing the button again. When song play is enabled, the machine will automatically enter song selecting mode, and you can select songs using the number pad. Refer to the appendix for the demo songs’ content. You can cancel the song play by pressing the “START/STOP” button.

Other Functions

  • Main Volume:
    Press the main volume button “MAIN VOL+” to increase the volume of all functions to the maximum value “16.” Press the button “MAIN VOL-” to decrease the volume of all functions to the minimum value “0.”

  • Accompanied Volume:
    Press the accompanied volume button “ACMP+” to increase the accompanied volume to the maximum value “16.” Press the button “ACMP-” to decrease the accompanied volume to the minimum value “1.”

  • Dual-Keyboard Switch:
    Press the “SPLIT” button, and the Split Keyboard function is on. The keyboard will be divided into two sections: 24 keys on the left (C2-B3) and 25 keys on the right (C4-C6). Choose the tone for the right keyboard before starting the dual keyboard function, and then select the tones for the left keyboard after the dual keyboard function is activated. The left keyboard and right keyboard can play different tones at the same time. Re-press the “SPLIT” key to return to normal play mode.

  • Memory Function:
    Set the song, tempo, tone, rhythm, chord, etc. before performing. Press the “MEMORY” button and “M1 or M2” button simultaneously, and the setting will be memorized. You can load the setting by pressing the “M1 or M2” button when you are performing.

  • Key Light Function:
    Press any key of the piano after plugging in the power supply, and the key will light up when you press it. The lighting key helps the player, especially beginners, learn the piano more easily.

  • Creative Scribble Function:
    The piano comes with 12-mark pens in concise and beautiful colors so that you can draw whatever you like on the body of the piano. DIY painting not only brings pleasure but also makes your piano unique and personalized.

NOTE:
All the settings will be deleted when the power is turned off.
