Product Usage Instructions

Getting Started

For the SR20s, place them with their respective clips on a microphone stand.
Mount the DM6 onto a mic stand using its attached ball mount.
Attach the DM17 microphones to your drum using the RM3 Rim Mount. Adjust the position as needed for optimal sound.

Connecting and Setup

Plug XLR cables into each microphone and connect the other ends to your audio interface.
Turn on phantom power on your audio interface to power the microphones.

GETTING STARTED

For the SR20s, place them with their respective clips on a microphone stand. For the DM6, simply mount its attached ball mount onto a mic stand of your choosing. For the DM17, place the microphone’s RM3 Rim Mount onto the hoop of your drum. The RM3’s jaw should be resting on the hoop of your drum. Then, turn the bottom knob on the RM3 until the mount tightens in place. (The top knob under the DM17 can be loosened to allow for finer adjustment of the microphone’s position. Feel free to adjust the DM17 if you wish, though the sound you get as soon as you put it on your drum will already be outstanding!) Once all of the microphones are on your drum kit, plug in XLR cables into each and connect the other ends to your audio interface. Finally, turn on phantom power on your audio interface. That’s it!

TROUBLESHOOTING

If you encounter issues while using your Earthworks Audio microphones, please make sure that

Your microphones and XLR cables are well connected.
The microphones are positioned at an appropriate distance from the sound source.
