Getting Started

Please ensure you are online (Wi-Fi or mobile data) during the app download and login steps.
Download the TP-Link Deco app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Follow the app’s instructions to set up your Deco device.

LED Status
Each Deco device has an LED light that indicates its status through different colors:

Pulse Yellow: Deco is resetting.
Solid Yellow: Deco is starting up.
Pulse Blue: Deco is ready for setup, or WPS is in progress.
Solid Blue: Deco is setting up.
Pulse Green: Deco is upgrading firmware.
Solid Green: Deco is all set up and connected to 4G / WAN.
Solid White: Deco is all set up and connected to 5G.
Pulse Red: The satellite Deco is disconnected from the main Deco. Solid Red: Deco has an issue.

FAQ

Q: What should I do if my Deco LED light is solid red?
A: If your Deco LED light is solid red, it indicates that there is an issue with the Deco device. Please try restarting the device and check your network connection
Q: How can I reset my Deco device?
A: To reset your Deco device, locate the reset button on the device and hold it down for at least 10 seconds until the LED light changes color.

Getting Started

Please remain online (Wi-Fi or mobile data) throughout the app download and login steps.
Download the TP-Link Deco app for iOS or Android. The app will walk you through the setup.

LED Status

Each Deco has an LED light that changes color according to its status. See the explanation below.

Safety Information

Adapter shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
