The 4G-LTE cellular-based security cameras from VOSKER are made to provide reliable photo coverage around-the-clock and to provide you access even when you’re on the move. Can I locate this camera if someone finds it and takes it to their home?****
Yes, when enabled, you can locate your Vokser V200 with the GPS Localisation System inside the unit.
I need to set up a Camera in a remote location that will send a picuture to my phone at the same time every day will this work?****
yes it’s possible to set the unit to send pictures at set intervals. Make sure to check which carriers provides the best signal in your area of use and choose accordingly. This choice does not depend on your mobile device provider.
Can multiple people get alerts or monitor this camera remotely?****
I would think that multiple people could monitor the camera if they download the app and use the same user name and password….it should work. Also, my V 200 worked for about one year. They exchanged it for a V150 which is currently working fine. My cameras are in full sun but it could not survive the copious amount of rain we had this summer.
If you have multiple phones will you get an alert on all phones if you download the app?****
We normally prefer if a client only has one phone with the app on it but if there was multiple phones with the app installed then they will all get the notification.
Can you use two cell phones with different server with same camera ? We need to have it sent to two cells one is Verizon and one is at &t****
Yes, you can use two cell phones. Our cameras have their own cellular plan independent from your cellular phone. You can access the camera from any phone as long as you can download the VOSKER mobile application to your device and login in with the same account. You can also access the camera through a web browser.
Will this device work with LTE for sprint phones?****
The carrier of the phone doesn’t factor into use of the camera. The camera has a prepaid plan with a cellphone carrier that will work independent to the customers cellphone. The camera will send the pictures using the the built in cellphone plan to your app, as long as your phone has internet access the camera will be able to send to your phone.
Do they make this for 5 g?****
The camera can only connect to an LTE or 4G signal. Normally you should be able to use it anywhere as it comes with the pre-activated SIM card which will connect to the nearest tower.
Does this work standalone (no network?) I want to use it to collect images and I will collect them intermittently by manually connecting to device****
Yes, you can use the camera without connecting it, it will take pictures and you can retrieve them manually from the SD card directly by using a computer.
Does this camera record sound?****
When set to VIDEO mode, the camera records Full HD 1080p video with audio on the SD card only.
What is hybrid mode used for?****
The hybrid consists of the photo+the timelapse mode. This means that the camera will take a picture if triggered according to the ”delay” status. If the camera is not triggered, then the camera will take a picture according to the timelapse mode without the need for the camera to be triggered by something.
