Intended Use

  1. Assemble the product with two people.
  2. Connect the four poles as shown in Fig. B.
  3. Attach the tarp loops to the pole tips as shown in Fig. C.
  4. Tie the guy ropes to the tarp loops.
  5. Straighten and anchor the guy ropes loosely.

Disassembling the Product
Disassemble the product in reverse order. Ensure it is clean and dry to prevent mold or stains. Pack into the carry bag only when completely dry.

Safety information

  • Never leave children unattended with the packaging materials. There is a risk of suffocation.

  • The product may be used only under adult supervision and must not be used as a toy.
  • Do not leave children unattended! The product is not a climbing frame or toy! Ensure that people, especially children, do not pull themselves up on the product or lean against it. The product could unbalance and tip over. This could result in injuries and/or damage.
  • Warning. Children must not be allowed to play with the product. The product may be used by children only if they are under the supervision of an adult. The adults must pay particular attention to the stability of the product in this case.
  • Ensure the product is properly stabilised before using it.
  • If it is unstable, the product may fall over, meaning that damage and injury to persons cannot be ruled out.
  • Warning. If the product is over-loaded, its stability can no longer be guaranteed.
  • Choose ground that is as solid and level as possible for erecting the product.
  • Mind your fingers in particular when folding and unfolding the product. There is a risk of injury from crushing.
  • Make sure that the product has been completely unfolded before you use it.
  • Warning. The product is made from flammable material. Do not use open flames, grills or radiators inside or near the product!
  • Be aware of the weather and atmospheric conditions. The product must not be used in adverse weather conditions such as strong winds, rain or snow.
  • Take down the product if wind speeds higher than 40km/h (strong breeze, larger branches and trees move, and the wind is clearly audible) are expected.
  • Never use the product as shelter during storms.
  • The product may be used only for its intended purpose in camping areas.

Preventing damage to the product!

  • Check the product for damage or wear before each use. Use the product only if it is in perfect condition!
  •  When choosing a site, consider the local conditions and how these may change. Pay attention to the possibility of rising rivers or tides.
  • Protect the product from strong wind and storms. Place the product in a spot least susceptible to wind.
  • Disassemble the product if the wind picks up or in case of other adverse weather conditions.
  • Do not use insect spray inside or on the product.
  • In order to prevent damage to the product, do not hang anything from it.
  • Do not attach the product to vehicles.

Assembling the product

The product should be assembled by two people.

  1. Put the four poles together as shown in Fig. B.
    Note : do not insert more than four poles into each other, otherwise the product will become unstable.

  2. Attach the loops of the tarp (1a) to the tips of the poles (4a) (Fig. C).

  3. Tie the guy ropes (2) to the loops of the tarp (1b) (Fig. C).

  4. Straighten the product.

  5. Anchor the guy ropes loosely to the ground one after the other using the ground pegs (3) and a rubber mallet (not included in the package contents). Alternatively, you can carefully attach the guy ropes to a tree.

    • Note : insert the ground pegs into the floor at a slight angle in a way that ensures a secure hold.
    • Note : you can secure the tarp to the ground without guy ropes by pushing the ground pegs through the loops of the tarp into the ground.
  6. Pull the guy ropes taut until the  product is under slight tension (Fig. D).

    • Note: the product should only be under slight tension so that wind loads can be equalized.
    • Note : fig. E shows the various ways to assemble the product.

Disassembling the product

  • Follow these steps in reverse order to disassemble the product.
  • Note : disassemble the product in as clean and dry a condition as possible, so as to avoid the formation of mould or stains.
  • Note : make sure that the product is completely dry before you pack it into the carry bag (7).

Repairs, care and storage

Repairs

  • Small tears or holes in the fabric can be repaired with standard repair patches.
  • Important! Do not use repair patches on the seams.
  • Enquire at a specialist shop about what repair materials to use and how to use them. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Larger tears should be repaired by someone with technical skills.
  • Cleaning and stain removal Remove superficial dirt and minor stains with a soft brush or damp cloth. IMPORTANT! Use only water and no cleaning agents, otherwise the product’s waterproofing may be impaired. Leave the product open to dry.

Storage
When not in use, always store the product clean and dry at room temperature.

Disposal

  • Dispose of the product and packaging materials in accordance with current local  regulations. Store the packaging materials (foil bags, for example) out of the reach of children. Notes on the guarantee and service handling
The product was produced with great care and under continuous quality control. DELTA-SPORT HANDELSKONTOR GmbH gives private end customers a three-year guarantee on this product from the date of purchase (guarantee period) in accordance with the following provisions. The guarantee is only valid for material and manufacturing defects.

  • The guarantee does not cover parts that are subject to normal wear and tear and that are thus considered wear parts (e.g. batteries) and it does not cover fragile parts such as switches or parts that are made of glass. Claims under this guarantee are excluded if the product has been used incorrectly, improperly, or contrary to the intended purpose, or if the provisions in the instructions for use were not observed, unless the end customer proves that a material or manufacturing defect exists that was not caused by one of the aforementioned circumstances.
  • Claims under the guarantee can only be made within the guarantee period by presenting the original sales receipt. Please therefore keep the original sales receipt. The guarantee period is not extended by any repairs carried out under the guarantee, under statutory guarantees, or as a gesture of goodwill. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
  • If you wish to make a claim please first contact the service hotline mentioned below or contact us by e-mail. If there is a guarantee case, then the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge to you or the purchase price will be refunded, depending on our choice.
