Before Starting Work
Before beginning any work on the compressor or unit, ensure that all safety
regulations and technical rules are observed.

After completing maintenance work, follow the specified procedures and

Installation Instructions
Follow these steps for installing the bearing bush:
Assembly Kit Components
- Bearing bush without collar
- Instruction manual for bearing installation
Extraction Process
- Unscrew the setscrew (if available)
- Force the bearing bush out
Insertion Process
- Oil the bore
- Align the bearing bush correctly
- Force-fit evenly flush with the contact surface
Safety Instructions
- Only skilled personnel are allowed to work on the refrigerant compressors.
- The local safety and accident prevention regulations, as well as the requisite technical rules, must be observed.
Points to be observed before working on the compressor or unit:
- Switch off the machine and safeguard it from being inadvertently switched on again.
- Disconnect the power supply line and motor cable.
- Relieve the machine from the system pressure.
- Please use original Bock spare parts exclusively.
After maintenance work has been com-pleted:
- Connect up the safety switch and check functions.
- Eva cuate the compressor (plant).
- Before starting up the compressor check that all components fitted by the user have been fitted correctly to the com- pressor and are compression proof (e.g.pipelines, plugs, union nuts, replaced components etc.)
- Open the shut-off valves (suction, pres- sure and liquid valves).
- Reconnect the power supply line and motor cable.
- Lift the switch-on safeguard.

- a.) Unscrew the setscrew (if available)
- b.) Force bearing bush out
Insertion
- c.) Oil the bore.
- d.) Align the bearing bush, paying attention to the position of the butt joint
- e.) Force-fit evenly flush with the contact surface.
